HLFG Group recorded a profit before tax of RM5,845.6 million for the current financial year ended 30 June 2024 as compared to RM5,251.3 million in the previous corresponding financial year ended (restated), an increase of RM594.3 million or 11.3%. The increase was due to higher contribution from across all operating divisions. Going forward, The Group remains guided by our strategic priorities on delivering improved financial performance through growing targeted segments, enhancing our product offerings and strengthening customer-centricity. This is on top of the Group’s steadfast commitment to cost discipline and sound asset quality management, while maintaining its robust capital and liquidity position to support asset growth.

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax of RM5,102 million, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year attributed to higher contributions from the commercial banking division and the insurance division, while the investment banking division recorded lower contribution. Overall, we approach the new financial year with caution as the current operating environment warrants vigilance with interest rates likely to remain higher for longer and the macroeconomics uncertainties of FY2023 persists into the new year. The Group shall guard against emerging risks and manage our businesses prudently, advancing on multiple fronts whilst strengthening our foundations for a digitalised and sustainable future.
