BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved the highest ever Profit Before Taxation for FY2022 of RM89.88 million, a substantial increase of RM31.24 million (53.29%) over financial year 2021. Sales of our key agencies for our FastMoving Consumer Products continue to record impressive growth achieving sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (‘KPIs’), thereby qualifying for incentives from our principals. The completion of our ERP system in Sabah will streamline our business processes to enable us to cope with the increasing voluminous transactions in future. We will continue the roll out our ERP system to Sarawak in 2024. The Group will continue to improve operating efficiencies by leveraging on upgraded technology and systems to compete.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current quarter decreased by RM21.1 million or 3.77% compared to the immediate preceding quarter due to seasonal factors. Gross margin for the current quarter is higher as the company received higher incentives and higher adjustments to our inventories due to price increases. The profit before tax for the current quarter increased by RM364,000 or 1.6% compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit before tax for the current quarter increased by RM4.6 million or 25.3% compared to the immediate preceding quarter. Besides higher margin of 0.62%, operation expenses, namely allowance for trade receivables was lower by RM2.98 million and provision for obsolesces of inventories was lower by RM872,000 for the current quarter as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit before tax for the current quarter increased by RM2.07 or 12.96% compared to the immediate preceding quarter. Provision for stock obsolescence was lower by RM949,000 and inventory written off was lower by RM580,000 for the current quarter as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit before tax for the current quarter increased by RM1.99 or 14.00% compared to the immediate preceding quarter. Gross margins increased slightly from 11.30% for the immediate preceding quarter to 12.45% for the current quarter. Allowance for impairment of trade receivables was lower for the current quarter due to the write back of allowance for impairment of trade receivables of RM2.04 million this current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit before tax for the current quarter increased by RM862,000 or 6.54% compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The allowance for slow moving inventories reduced from RM2.75 million in the preceding quarter to RM76,000 in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current quarter decreased by RM70.6 million or 14.74% compared to the immediate preceding quarter due to decrease in sales of fast moving consumer goods particularly beer, Building Materials and Engineering Products and Industrial and Agriculture Products. Operations associated with these products have to be closed from March to May 2020 to comply with the MCO.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.77 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 83.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 723 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current quarter increased by RM58.6 million or 13.94% compared to the immediate preceding quarter due to seasonal increase in sales of fast moving consumer goods for the immediate preceding quarter.
