BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher profit before zakat and taxation of RM143.5 million in the current quarter as compared to RM138.8 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to higher gross profit, lower finance cost and higher finance income, partially offset by higher administrative expenses and lower contribution from the Group’s joint venture companies.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower profit before zakat and taxation of RM138.8 million in the current quarter as compared to RM144.1 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to lower gross profit, higher administrative expenses and higher finance cost, partially offset by higher finance income and higher contribution from the Group’s joint venture companies.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher profit before zakat and taxation of RM144.1 million in the current quarter as compared to RM120.3 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to higher gross profit, lower finance cost and higher finance income, partially offset by higher administrative expenses and lower contribution from the Group’s joint venture companies.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher profit before zakat and taxation of RM92.0 million in the current quarter as compared to RM83.4 million in the preceding quarter, in line with higher volume of natural gas sold, mitigated by higher overheads and losses incurred by the Group’s joint venture companies.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower profit before zakat and taxation of RM72.1 million in the current quarter as compared to RM94.4 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to lower gross profit in line with revenue cap adjustment recognised in the preceding quarter, offset by lower overheads being part of cost of sales in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher profit before zakat and taxation of RM69.8 million in the current quarter as compared to RM59.2 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to higher gross profit in line with higher volume of natural gas sold, coupled with higher gas contribution margin and lower overheads being part of cost of sales. In addition, the current quarter also showed higher finance and other income and share of profit from joint venture companies.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower profit before zakat and taxation of RM59.2 million in the current quarter as compared to RM67.4 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to lower gross profit in line with lower volume of natural gas sold, coupled with higher overheads and depreciation being part of cost of sales, and mitigated by higher gas contribution margin, and lower finance and other income. This was partially offset by lower operating expenses.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.72 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 71.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 241 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower profit before zakat and taxation of RM67.4 million in the current quarter as compared to RM68.2 million in the preceding quarter. This was mainly attributed to lower share of result in joint ventures and partially offset by higher gross profit, lower finance costs and higher finance income.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher profit before zakat and taxation of RM68.2 million in the current quarter as compared to RM53.2 million in the preceding quarter which was mainly attributed to higher share of results from joint venture companies and partially offset by higher overhead expenses resulting mainly from property, plant and equipment written off.
