BURSA MALAYSIA –
Excluding the one-off cash gain on divestment of our four highways, our Group posted a quarterly (Q1FY23) core earnings of RM190 million, a decrease of 25% compared with the immediate preceding quarter’s (Q4FY22) earnings of RM255 million due to last year’s lumpy property earnings from Vietnam.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a quarterly earnings of RM255 million, an increase of 15% compared with the immediate preceding quarter’s earnings of RM221 million on the back of higher construction and property earnings.

The Group posted a quarterly earnings of RM221 million, an increase of 25% compared with the immediate preceding quarter’s earnings of RM177 million as works on all fronts picked up pace.

Gamuda Bhd is among the eight companies that will be added to the MSCI Malaysia Small Cap Index with effect at the close of May 27. However, Careplus Group Bhd, Ekovest Bhd and Focus Dynamics Group Bhd will be removed. The MSCI Malaysia Small Cap Index was launched on June 1,2007.
The Edge –
Property developer Gamuda Land Sdn Bhd plans to incorporate 5G connectivity into its Gamuda Cove township with smart devices and artificial intelligence experience, in collaboration with information and communications technology solutions provider, Huawei Malaysia. In a statement, Gamuda Land said residents and visitors would be well-connected within the 600-hectare township in Southern Klang Valley, envisioned to be a nature sanctuary and smart city.

In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 13.42 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 321.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 1478 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Excluding the one-off non-cash impairment of RM148 million on IBS assets, the Group posted a quarterly net profit of RM131 million, almost 4 times the RM40 million net profit in the preceding quarter as works at all construction and property projects picked up pace while traffic plying the expressways were returning to pre-movement restrictions level.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for this quarter of RM65 million is lower than the immediate preceding quarter’s profit before tax of RM220 million due to the Covid-19 induced MCO in this current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Gamuda Group posted a higher net profit of RM175 million in 2QFY2020 as compared with a net profit of RM173 million in 2QFY2019 due to higher construction profit.

In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 15.84 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 332.7 million and auditor’s remuneration of 1541 thousands
