For FYE2024, The group’s PBT increased to RM14.47 million compared to a loss before tax of RM27.90 million in the preceding year, mainly due to a higher contribution from the Property Division in the current year coupled with lower impairments and accounting provisions compared to the preceding year. Moving Forward, The Group’s Construction Division will continue to explore new opportunities to replenish its order book as well as focus on the timely execution and completion of on-going projects. The Group will continue to explore new business opportunities to expand and strengthen the Group’s revenue, ensure timely completion of ongoing projects and implement various measures to improve operational efficiency to achieve long-term sustainable growth.

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The Group recorded a revenue of RM496.1 million and a loss before tax of RM27.9 million for FYE 2023 compared with the previous year’s revenue and profit before tax of RM652.0 million and RM70.1 million respectively. The lower performance is mainly due to lower contribution from construction projects, a one-off impairment loss on goodwill, impairment of concession assets, investment in joint venture, receivables and contract assets and provision for potential liability arising from liquidated ascertained damages. With our plans in place, albeit operating within the uncertain economic environment, the Group remains cautiously optimistic and will continue to seek opportunities for growth and create value by leveraging on our inherent business strengths and proven track record in project implementation.
