BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and profit continue to be largely derived from its Property Development Division. This revenue outcome translated into Group pre-tax profit for the full year of RM57.8 million, a 55.8 per cent increase. We are now entering a new stage of expansion, marked by multiple projects which, combined, have the potential to place the Group
on a higher growth trajectory. While our expansion plans bring new challenges, our performance during our initial stage of growth highlights that the Group is adept in delivering consistent, quality outcomes while managing a range of risks
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and profit are largely derived from its Property Development Division, and in particular its Klang Valley operations. As a result, largely of the continuing successful take-up of our Est8 @ Seputeh project, together with the launch of Helix2 @ PJ South and successful launches of new phases of Northern property projects, the Group achieved total revenue for FY2023 of RM202.0 million. This revenue outcome translated into Group pre-tax profit for the full-year of RM37.1 million, marginally lower than the pre-tax profit of RM39.7 million recorded in the previous financial year. our achievements in expanding our project portfolio will provide a significantly expanded baseline of revenue. This will fund further project expansion and underwrite a return to our pre-COVID trajectory of strong year-on-year improvements on our financial results.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported quarter over quarter increase in revenue and pre-tax profit of RM4.6 million and RM0.9 million respectively as against the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 August 2022, primarily due to contributions from the PDD’s Central Region’s projects, as sales take-up rates and site progress at Est8 increased progressively, and from the launch of Helix2.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the increase in revenue, pre-tax profit fell by RM6.9 million, or 60.5%, as compared to Q1FY2023. The decrease was primarily due to the gain of RM9.2 million from disposal of subsidiaries based in Australia was recognised in Q1FY2023. Otherwise, Q2FY2023’s pre-tax profit had also shown improvement which is in line with the better performance in Q2FY2023’s revenue.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the decrease in revenue, pre-tax profit of RM11.4 million in Q1FY2023 and RM10.9 million in Q4FY2022 were comparable. This was primarily due to lower gross profit margin incurred in Q4FY2022 as a result of the finalisation of Parc3’s construction costs upon its completion in December 2021. The gain of RM9.2 million from the disposal of a subsidiary based in Australia in Q1FY2023 moderated the impact of this decrease in revenue.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite this increase in revenue, pre-tax profit for Q4FY2022 was RM3.8 million lower compared to Q3FY2022. This was mainly due to higher cost of sales incurred as a result of the finalisation of Parc3’s construction costs upon its completion in December 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and pre-tax profit improved by RM25.4 million and RM10.0 million respectively, compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The overall increase in the current quarter’s financial performance was mainly due to property and construction sectors being permitted to operate in Q3FY2022, compared to the strict movement restrictions imposed for almost a month from 1 June 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and pre-tax profit decreased by RM20.7 million and RM4.9 million respectively, compared to the immediate preceding quarter. It was mainly due to lower contribution from Property Development Division and Property Construction Division, as a result of slower construction work progress for Parc3 in Q2FY2022 against Q1FY2022, as the project nears completion. The implementation of MCO 3.0 from 1 June 2021, has also negatively affected the business activities of building materials.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The decrease of revenue was mainly due to lower contribution from PDD, specifically Parc3@KL South as the construction progress is nearing completion, resulting in lower revenue contribution to Q4FY2021. Further, there is also no revenue contribution from Novum@South Bangsar in Q4FY2021, compared to RM12.2 million received from the project in Q3FY2021. The Group reported lower pre-tax profit in Q4FY2021, by RM12.9 million, due to both the reason outlined above as well as the above stated recognition of a one-off impairment to the CGMD’s water park.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and pre-tax profit for Q2FY2021 increased by RM91.1 million and RM28.1 million respectively, compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The improvement in financial performance of Q2FY2021 as compared to Q1FY2021, was mainly due to lifting of the movement restrictions, allowing construction of the Group’s development projects to resume from May 2020, coupled with delivery of vacant possession of Novum project during the quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and pre-tax profit for Q1FY2021 decreased by RM47.4 million and RM12.6 million respectively, compared to the immediate preceding quarter. Property Development Division revenue, accounting for 93.4% of the Group’s total revenue, fell by RM43.5 million from RM71.9 million in Q4FY2020 to RM28.4 million in Q1FY2021. The weaker Q1FY2021 financial performance resulted from the temporary shutdown of non-essential service industries during the MCO and CMCO period.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 4.41 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 21.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 204 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue was RM77.8 million for Q4FY2020, increased by RM21.2 million compared to Q3FY2020. The increase was primarily attributed to revenue from Northern Region PDD projects, due to improved progress of construction works. Likewise, the Group’s pre-tax profit was RM16.2 million for Q4FY2020, increased by RM2.7 million compared to Q3FY2020 was mainly due to higher contribution from PDD.
