BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group posted a Loss before tax of RM3.242 million in the financial year ended 31 December 2022 as compared to LBT of RM0.28 billion in FYE2021 mainly attribute by a decline of 105.31% in the investment segment. Going Forward, The Group considers introducing new product lines or services to meet changing consumer needs and preferences.The Group continues to invest in research and development to enhance its product offerings and increase competitiveness. It will also continue to promote its unique souvenir products, featuring an impressive 3D printing effect on the glass bottle, to capture the attention of customers and drive sales. Also, the Group will invest in sustainability initiatives and green technology to reduce its carbon footprint and improve its environmental impact.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The current quarter showed a modest decline in turnover, with total RM12.36 million compared to RM12.43 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in turnover was attributed to a drop in demand for household products. The personal care segment continues to report a loss, with RM1.08 million in current quarter, compared to RM0.64 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The household segment has reported a loss of RM48 thousand in the current quarter, compared to profit of RM53 thousand in the immediate preceding quarter. The investment holding segment has reported a profit of RM18 thousand in the current quarter, compared to a loss of RM9 thousand in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Loss Before Tax (“LBT”) of RM0.60 million for the current quarter as compared to a LBT of RM0.73 million in the immediately preceding quarter. The Group reduced the losses by 17.72% from the immediately preceding quarter. During the quarter under review, the LBT margin was approximately 4.82% as compared to the LBT margin of 5.72% in the immediate preceding quarter. The Group reported a profit before tax of RM53 thousand in household segment, a turnaround from LBT of RM132 thousand reported in preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Loss Before Tax (“LBT”) of RM0.73 million for the current quarter as compared to a LBT of RM0.80 million in the immediately preceding quarter. The Group reduced the losses by 9.23% from the immediately preceding quarter. During the quarter under review, the LBT margin was approximately 5.71% as compared to the LBT margin of 6.35% in the immediate preceding quarter. The slight improvement in LBT margin is due to the slightly increase in sales
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM0.80 million for the current quarter as compared to a loss before tax of RM0.31 million in the immediately preceding quarter. The LBT was due to the lesser sales orders during the quarter under review. During the quarter under review, the LBT margin was approximate -6.35% as compared to the LBT margin of -1.89% in the immediately preceding quarter. The lower LBT margin was mainly due to the lower turnover.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM0.31 million for the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM0.05 million of the immediately preceding quarter. The LBT was due to the change in product mix, inventory written off and share of loss of joint venture
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM0.05 million for the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM0.89 million of the immediately preceding quarter. The higher PBT was mainly due to the gain on disposal of investment in a joint venture of RM0.70 million during the current quarter and the increase in export sales in the current quarter which has generated higher profit margin.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM0.89 million for the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM0.86 million of the immediately preceding quarter due to the dividend income from a joint venture recognised in the immediately preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a PBT of RM0.86 million for the current quarter as compared to PBT of RM0.69 million of the immediate preceding quarter. The higher PBT during the reporting quarter was mainly due to the dividend income of RM2.3 million from a joint venture.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a PBT of RM1.15 million for the current quarter as compared to PBT of RM0.57 million of the immediately preceding quarter. The higher PBT was mainly due to the increase in the sale of higher profit margin products during the reporting quarter as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.69 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 10.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 86 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The turnover for the reporting quarter was RM11.41 million as compared to RM12.45 million of the preceding quarter. The decrease in turnover was mainly due to lesser orders placed which was affected by the outbreak of Covid-19 and MCO. The Group recorded a PBT of RM0.57 million for the current quarter as compared to Loss Before Taxation (LBT) of RM0.68 million of the preceding quarter. The higher PBT was mainly due to the sale of higher profit margin products.
