BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group incurred a loss before tax of RM7.5 million in FY2022, primarily due to a write-down of RM13.6 million in inventories, compared to a profit before tax of RM1.9 million in FY2021. Going Forward, The group efforts to diversify our income streams have also seen good progress with securing the silica mining projects, and the group will continue to ride on that momentum.The group expect to continue exploring synergies further in silica sand mining as they build their name and presence in this industry.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered 9.2% higher revenue of RM29.6 million in Q3-2022 largely due to higher contributions from the property development segment. Correspondingly, the loss before tax of RM1.2 million in Q3-2022 marked an improvement of RM6.0 million compared to the loss before tax of RM7.2 million in Q2-2022. In addition to
the increase in revenue in Q3-2022, the reversal of property development costs for the completed properties have increased the gross profit by RM4.4 million in Q3-2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss before tax of RM7.2 million in Q2-2022, compared to a profit before tax of RM9.2 milliion in Q1-2022. The decrease in profit before tax of RM16.4 million in Q2-2022 was mainly due to a lower revenue contribution and led to a reduction of gross profit by RM9.8 million. The second factor was due to the loss on foreign exchange of RM1.8 million as compared to the gain on foreign exchange of RM2.1 million. This resulted in a reduction in profit before tax of RM3.9 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Whilst the revenue of the Group in Q1-2022 is lower by RM12.0 million than the revenue in Q4-2021, the Group has marked a profit before tax of RM9.2 million in Q1-2022 as compared to RM10.6 million in Q4-2021. In Q4-2021, the Group made one off adjustments on impairments of inventories and fair value of investment properties of RM11.8 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax in Q3-2021 of RM4.9 million, as compared to RM2.3 million in Q2-2021, an increase of RM2.6 million. The lower gross profit generated from business activities has contributed to the higher loss before tax in Q3-2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax in Q1-2021 of RM1.5 million compared to a profit before tax of RM61.3 million in Q4-2020, a decrease of RM62.8 million. Decrease in profit before tax for the quarter is mainly due to the reversal of accretion of interest and interest charges on Bukit Katil Land occurred in the Q4-2020 as a result of the settlement agreement entered between EBKSB and FELDA. In Q4-2020, the Group has recorded the reversal of accretion interest and interest charges totalling of RM55.9 million and reversal of fair value loss of investment properties of RM4.0 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for Q4-2020 of the Group stood at RM61.3 million as compared to loss before tax of RM35.4 million in Q3-2020. The increase in profit before tax for the quarter is mainly due to reversal of accretion interest for financial year 2019 and cumulative accretion interest as at Q3-2020 of RM46.8 million and cumulative late payment interest charges as at Q3-2020 of RM9.1 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue for the Group of RM21.7 million in 2Q20 is lower by RM8.5 million as compared to revenue of RM30.2 million in 1Q20. The Group’s rental rebates have been granted to existing tenants and resulted in lower revenue for property segment in 2Q20. Loss before tax in 1Q20 of RM15.4 million has decreased by RM6.4 million to RM9.0 million in 2Q20. The main reason is due to unrealised foreign exchange gain of RM3.2 million in 2Q2020 as compared to unrealised foreign exchange loss of RM2.1 million in 1Q2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue for the Group for 1Q20 of RM30.2 million is lower by RM32.1 million as compared to revenue for 4Q19 of RM62.3 million. Loss before tax in 1Q20 has improved by RM2.3 million from loss before tax of RM17.7 million in 4Q19 to RM15.4 million in 1Q20. The lower group revenue due to lower contribution from on-going projects. Decrease in loss before tax is due to the recognition of impairment in investment property and intangible assets in previous quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.78 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 282 thousands
