BURSA MALAYSIA –
Loss before tax of RM7.2 million was reported during FYE2023 as compared to previous financial year profit before tax of RM20.9 million. The financial performance was mainly impacted by significantly lower revenue from US market which generated higher profit margin, increase in cost of production and non-operating expenses. The Group intends to focus on the expansion of new product lines under our material handling system to cater forautomated warehouses. This would be done in collaboration with GMH. We look forward to the exciting times ahead with our material handling system by trying to secure new markets in Asia and Australia. There is also the potential of setting up a steel storage manufacturing facility outside Malaysia. We will continue to tap into the potential of PFOE plants and the demand for biofuels to take the Group to greater heights.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the increase in revenue, profit before tax (“PBT”) declined to RM20.9 million as compared to RM29.8 million during the previous financial year. This was mainly contributed by the share of losses from our investment in Lienteh Technology Sdn Bhd (“LTSB”), a glove making subsidiary and associate of about RM6.1 million and RM1.59 million respectively. The Group is anticipating lower demand for its steel product and trading activity due to weakening global economy growth. However, the Group is maintaining optimism in the machinery and equipment segment due to the high crude palm oil price which may lead to higher demand in its palm oil related business.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM8.8 million, representing a decrease of RM4.1 million from PBT of RM12.9 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly attributed by lower revenue generated from machinery and equipment segment as well as steel product and trading activity segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM12.9 million, representing an increase of RM1.2 million from PBT of RM11.7 million in the preceding quarter. The increase was mainly attributed by higher revenue from machinery and equipment activity segment.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM9.7 million, representing an increase of RM4.8 million from PBT of RM4.9 million in the preceding quarter. The increase was mainly attributed by higher revenue generated from steel segment and gain in share of profit from associates.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM4.9 million, representing a decrease of RM2.4 million from PBT of RM7.3 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly attributed by one-off gain on disposal of land and building in the previous quarter. Excluding the one-off gain, the PBT increased from RM0.9 million to RM4.9 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM7.3 million, representing a decrease of RM0.9 million from PBT of RM8.2 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly attributed to the government of Malaysia imposing Movement Control Order (“MCO”) from 25th May 2021, MCO 3.0 from 1st Jun 2021 to 30th June 2021 under National Recovery Plan (“NRP”) Phase 1. This has curtailed production activity across the group. The lower PBT was also attributed by higher raw material cost.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM8.2 million, representing an increase of RM7.4 million from PBT of RM0.8 million in the preceding quarter. The increase was mainly attributed to higher revenue and lower production cost from steel product and trading activity, and lower impairment loss on receivable.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM1.0 million, representing a decrease of RM2.1 million from PBT of RM3.1 million in the preceding quarter. BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a current quarter PBT of RM0.3 million, representing a decrease of RM1.2 million from PBT of RM1.5 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to the curtailment of business operation during the MCO and CMCO imposed.
