BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM40.5 million and narrower loss before tax of RM0.4 million for 2Q23, as compared to revenue of RM35.7 million and loss before tax of RM1.7 million for 1Q23. The higher revenue and lower loss before tax in 2Q23 was due to the seasonally higher sales for the September quarter as compared to the June quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM35.7 million and loss before tax of RM1.7 million for 1Q23, as compared to revenue of RM37.0 million and profit before tax of RM1.1 million for 4Q22. The lower revenue and loss before tax in 1Q23 was due to the seasonally lower revenue in 1Q23.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM40.0 million and profit before tax of RM3.8 million for 3Q22, as compared to revenue of RM21.8 million and loss before tax of RM5.2 million for 2Q22. The higher revenue and profit before tax in 3Q22 was due to the lifting of lockdowns in Malaysia as well as the Group’s other markets in 3Q22.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM21.8 million and loss before tax of RM5.2 million for 2Q22, as compared to revenue of RM25.8 million and loss before tax of RM6.2 million for 1Q22. Despite the lower revenue in 2Q22, the Group reported a lower loss before tax due to higher government grants and rent concession rebates received in 2Q22 as compared to 1Q22.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM25.8 million and loss before tax of RM6.2 million for 1Q22, as compared to revenue of RM31.9 million and profit before tax of RM0.7 million for 4Q21. The lower revenue and profit before tax for 1Q22 was due to the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and reinstatement of MCO 3.0 from 13 May 2021 and a full lockdown from 1 June 2021, which resulted in weaker consumer sentiment and lower consumer traffic to shopping malls, retail channels, pharmacies and skin care and hair salons.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.12 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 56.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 281 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM22.2 million and loss before tax of RM2.0 million for 1Q21, as compared to revenue of RM36.1 million and loss before tax of RM0.5 million for 4Q20. The lower revenue and higher loss before tax for 1Q21 is due to the MCO and various lockdowns in Malaysia and the Group’s other markets, which resulted in the closure of all of the Group’s Corporate Outlets.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM36.1 million and loss before tax of RM0.5 million for 4Q20, as compared to revenue of RM49.1 million and profit before tax of RM4.0 million for 3Q20. The lower revenue and loss before tax is due to seasonally higher festive sales in the quarter as well as enforcement of the MCO, which resulted in the closure of all of the Group’s Corporate Outlets and independent skin and hair salons which the Group distributes to.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The total revenue of the Group for the current quarter was RM70.0 million, decreased by RM35.2 million against preceding quarter due to lower revenue from all business segments. The total PBT of the Group for the current quarter was RM8.1 million, increased by RM0.3 million against preceding quarter mainly due to lower administrative expenses and distribution costs.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM49.1 million and profit before tax of RM4.0 million for 3Q20, as compared to revenue of RM43.5 million and profit before tax of RM2.0 million for 2Q20. The higher revenue and profit before tax for 3Q20 is due to seasonally higher revenue as compared to 2Q20.
