Our PBT decreased by approximately RM5.05 million or 61.73% from RM8.18 million in FYE 2023 to RM3.13 million in FYE 2024. The lower profit before tax was in line with the decrease in revenue for the current financial year, as well as attributable higher operating and financing cost and implementation of working hours to 45 hours a week. The Group intends to focus on its core competency in enhancing the efficiency of the existing manufacturing activities and increase the manufacturing capacity to enable the Group to take on opportunities arising from future demand. The Group is confident that the future prospects will be favourable as the Group is targeted to commence the construction of Factory C by fourth quarter of year 2024.

Our PBT slightly decreased by approximately RM0.39 million or 4.55% from RM8.57 million in FYE 2022 to RM8.18 million in FYE 2023. The decrease was mainly due to deferment of shipments by customers and reduce in demand for export markets. Given our track record in penetrating these foreign markets, we will continue to expand our customer base and export markets. We plan to further intensify our marketing and sales efforts to capture more sales. Furniture trade fairs are an important avenue for us to showcase our ready-to-assemble furniture products and meet new potential customers.
