BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT increased from RM4.14 million for the FYE 2023 to RM7.28 million for the FYE 2024, marking an increase of RM3.14 million or approximately 75.9%. The increase was driven by increase in customer orders and improvements in the gross profit margin resulting from a lower average cost of raw material. As we strive for continued growth in the local market, we are elevating brand awareness through a blend of innovative online and offline initiatives. Our adaptability ensures that we meet the evolving demands of today’s dynamic market. In addition, we are committed to expanding our portfolio for our valued overseas customers. We are actively reformulating new products to better serve their needs and enhance our offerings.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group’s profit before tax decreased by RM2.97 million or approximately 41.80% from RM7.11 million in the previous FYE 2022 to RM4.14 million in FYE 2023. The decrease was mainly due to the increase in average raw materials and packaging cost in FYE 2023 compare to FYE 2022. In our pursuit for further growth in the local market, we are enhancing market awareness of our brand through a combination of online and offline initiatives. We are adapting to align with the demands of today’s contemporary market. This approach will not only uphold our brand’s legacy but also resonate with today’s audience and facilitate meaningful connections. As economies rebound and supply chains are realigned, the demand for reliable aerosol providers in the Southeast Asia region is projected to increase. This favorable scenario opens up opportunities for DPI to explore new international markets. Acknowledging the risk of inflation, market exploration is carried out with prudence
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue slightly increased by of RM0.25 million, or approximately 2.1% from RM12.10 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM12.35 million in the current financial quarter. The increase was mainly due to increase in sales order for solvents and thinners segment and revenue generated from the new plastic products segment. The Group’s PBT increased by RM0.17 million, or approximately 37.3% from RM0.47 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM0.64 million in the current financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT decreased by RM0.56 million, or approximately 54.4% from RM1.03 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM0.47 million in the current financial quarter. The decreased was mainly due to decreased in gross profit margin as a result of increased in average raw materials prices and packaging cost.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT decreased by RM1.95 million, or approximately 65.6% from RM2.98 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM1.03 million in the current financial quarter. The Group has revised upwards the products’ selling price in the third quarter of FYE 2022 due to increase in the cost of raw materials. The decrease in revenue is mainly due to the decrease in sales orders from the customers during the 4Q FYE 2022 as a result of the customers have increased their orders before the selling price increase
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT increased by RM0.19 million, or approximately 7.0% from RM2.79 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM2.98 million in the current financial quarter. The increase in PBT during the current financial quarter was mainly due to increase in gross profit margin from the OEM sales
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT increased by RM2.47 million, or approximately 770.63% from RM0.32 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM2.79 million in the current financial quarter. The increase in PBT during the current financial quarter was mainly due to increase in both revenue and the gross profit margin during the current financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT decreased by RM2.57 million, or approximately 88.93% from RM2.89 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM0.32 million in the current financial quarter.The decrease was mainly
attributable to the MCO imposed by the Government, which had required the Group to halt its aerosol production from 29 June 2021 to 27 August 2021, and thus affected the Group’s ability to fulfill sales orders in the 1Q FYE 2022
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before taxation increased by RM0.3 million, or approximately 7.4% from RM4.3 million in the immediate preceding quarter to RM4.6 million in the current financial quarter. The increase in profit before taxation during the current quarter was mainly contributed by the increase in revenue and gross profit margin. The increase was mainly attributable to the increase in sales orders from existing customers and new customers.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 1.75 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 2.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 105 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM15.6 million for current quarter, compared to RM7.0 million in preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to the increase in sales orders from existing customers and new customers. Further, the revenue for preceding quarter was affected when the Group had to halt all production as a consequence of the MCO. The Group’s PBT increased from RM0.8 million in preceding quarter to RM4.4 million in the current quarter. This was mainly due to the increase in both revenue and gross profit margin.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM7.0 million for the current quarter under review was 39.7% lower than RM11.6 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly attributable to the MCO which had required the Group to halt all production from 18 March 2020 to 26 April 2020, and thus affected its ability to fulfil sales orders
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM11.6 million for the current quarter was 3.2% lower than RM12.0 million recorded in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to the decrease in sales orders from customers. The Group’s PBT decreased by RM1.2 million from RM3.3 million in the preceding quarter to RM2.1 million in the current quarter. This was mainly due to the decrease in revenue, decrease in fixed deposit interest income due to upliftment of fixed deposits placed with financial institutions before maturity; and allowance for impairment loss on trade receivables.
