BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group has recorded a profit before tax of RM96.4 million from RM4.7 million representing an increase of 1951.1% in profit as compared to the previous financial year. The increase in profit before tax was largely due to the recovery from losses to profits by the Refinery Segment and Special Purpose Vehicles Segment as well as higher contribution of profits achieved by the Palm Oil Plantation and Milling Segment, and Palm Oil Equipment and Engineering Segment. Our Group continues to take corrective measures to mitigate these risks including close monitoring of the Government’s masterplan in respect of long term economic and development policies so that we can stay ahead as well as capitalise on any regulatory changes in the industries that our Group operates.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group has recorded a profit before tax of RM4.7 million from RM104.3 million representing a decrease of 95.1% in profit as compared to the previous financial year. The decrease in profit before tax was largely due to a few factors, namely loss incurred in Refinery Segment and Special Purpose Vehicles Segment as compared to profit recorded in previous financial year, lower profit recorded under Palm Oil Equipment and Engineering Segment and coupled with lower share of results from Associates and Joint Venture. The group is constantly striving to enhance its production capabilities to the efficient in controlling costs and overheads on one hand and on the other, to seek out new markets and opportunities, both local and abroad.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s reported a loss for the current quarter with a lower revenue as compared to a profit in the immediate preceding quarter. The loss incurred during the current quarter was mainly due to losses reported by the refinery segment resulting from operation and derivative hedging losses. The result was further undermined by loss posted by the plantation segment due to lower production of palm products during the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before taxation for the current quarter decreased by 10.8% despite an increase in revenue as compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in the Group’s profits before taxation was mainly due to losses incurred by the palm oil plantation segment following the decrease in prices of palm products resulting from the palm oil export ban imposed by Indonesian government during the current quarter. In addition, the palm oil equipment and engineering segment reported lower contribution mainly due to higher project implementation expenditure during the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increase in the Group’s profits before taxation by 14.3% was mainly due to the higher contributions by the palm oil plantation and palm oil equipment and engineering segments following the higher revenue generated by both segments during the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and profit before taxation for the current quarter increased to RM136.6 million and RM20.2 million respectively as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.

The group reported Profit before tax of RM17.6 million in the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM21.8 million in the preceding quarter, decreased by 17.4%. The decrease in the Group’s profits before taxation was mainly due to the lower contribution by the palm oil equipment and engineering segment along with a loss incurred by the palm oil plantation segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The decrease in the Group’s profits before taxation by 42.8% was mainly due to the lower contribution by the palm oil equipment and engineering segment along with a loss incurred by the special purpose vehicles segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increase in the Group’s profits before taxation by 146% was mainly due to the improvement by the palm oil plantations segment following the increases in palm oil milling operation and prices of palm products. In addition the special purpose vehicles segment recovered from a loss in previous quarter to profit generating in current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before tax at RM104.251 million and RM4.025 million respectively as compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020 revenue and profit before tax of RM108.025 million and RM12.633 million respectively. The decrease in revenue was due to lower revenue generated by the special purpose vehicles and refinery segments resulting from outbreak of COVID-19. The decrease in profits before taxation was due to the losses incurred by the palm oil plantations and refinery segments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and profit before taxation for the current quarter decreased as compared to preceding quarter. The decrease in the Group’s revenue and profit before taxation was mainly due to lower project billings and implementation by the palm oil equipment and engineering segment during the current quarter despite a new stream of revenue generated by the biofuel refinery segment.

3 MAR 20 – CB Industrial Product Holding Bhd (CBIP) has acquired the remaining 0.62% stake in palm oil trader TPG Oil and Gas Sdn Bhd for RM7 million.
