Our Group reported a record higher of revenue at RM198.67 million and highest Profit Before Tax (“PBT”) of RM5.73 million for the past 5 years. This was largely attributable to the progress achievement from a mega construction contract secured by a subsidiary, namely Cabnet M&E Sdn Bhd (“CME”) back in November 2022. With the continuing expansion plan of semiconductor industry at Northern region, the Group is confident with its strategic positioning to capitalise on opportunities from this expansion trend. We believe our Group will be in a position benefit from increased market demand to upgrade ICT infrastructure and system to enhance organisation cybersecurity as well as ensure ICT systems availability as part of business continuity planning during unplanned event

The Group was facing pressure from delays in project completion, a high-inflationary environment and gradual increase of bank lending rate throughout the reporting period. As a result, the Group’s profit before tax declined by 69% to RM0.61 million compared to RM1.96 million in FYE 2021. As we are moving into an era of high inflation and tightened monetary policy, the Group anticipates operational cost will remain on the high side. Nevertheless, the Group will continue to be diligent in optimising operational efficiency. The Group will continue its efforts in actively securing viable projects and potential strategic investments

For the current quarter, the Group achieved revenue of RM8.04 million which is approximately 34.57% lower as compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020. The decline in revenue mainly due to construction progress was affected by the MCO enforced by Malaysian Government which had led to temporary suspension of business operations from 18 March 2020 to 4 May 2020.
