BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a revenue of RM110.2 million and recorded loss after tax of RM29.7 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. The loss after tax was mainly attributed to the loss and provision for impairment of investments of RM15.0 million. Core operations was affected by soft market demand for both Metal and PCB Assembly, exacerbated by headwinds due to rising raw material and production cost. The Group remains cautiously optimistic on the business prospects and has taken the opportunity to strategize and focus its operations to its core competency in Metal, PCB Assembly and Electrical & Electronic segment. The Group would also focus on producing high mix of products with low volume and introduce value-added services in order to be a one stop solution to the Group’s customers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a revenue of RM214.8 million and loss after tax of RM10.3 million for the FPE 2022.The loss after tax was mainly attributed to the provision for the customs court case amounting to RM11.1 million and fair value loss recognition on other investment amounting to RM1.4 million. the Group will continue to focus on its core business, more so after the disposal of Matahari Suria Sdn. Bhd.. The focus will be to optimize the overall manufacturing cost structure and concurrently to increase the depth and breadth of our customer base. The acquisition of BSL Unify will further strengthen our product development and extension, as it has direct exposure to the ATE sector.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recognized higher revenue and profit after tax by 316% as compared to the immediate preceding quarter largely due to the higher revenue from the Metal Division and due to the extend of PCB Division.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a more than 14-fold increase in profit after tax of RM8.94 million compared to RM0.62million in financial year ended 31 August 2020 (“FY2020”). The profit after tax for the year was contributed from operations, share of profit from associate as well as fair value gains on investment. the management team has started to execute the 3-year revitalization plan to pivot the Group in enhancing the value of the Group’s product and service offerings. The initial step has already been announced with the acquisition of 51% in SD Unify (SDU) in Singapore. The operations is also being reviewed with the aim of cost and operational optimization to bring the overall cost structure in line with current market and peer group
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The lower revenue and operating profit were due to the lesser operational days in Q4FY2021 as a result of the EMCO. The recognition of share of profit of associate of RM4.25million and fair value gain on initial recognition of other investment of RM1.09million resulted in the higher profit after tax in Q4FY2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the slight reduction in revenue in Q2FY2021 against Q1FY2021, profit after tax has improved by 12% mainly due to higher tooling sales as well as contributions from the ongoing EPCC projects under the renewable energy segment.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 1.38 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 26.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 172 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The 4th quarter results of RM43.152 million in revenue for the period ended 31 August 2020 were significantly better than the 3rd quarter of RM20.017 million ended 31 May 2020 as the Group had recommenced full operations subsequent to the Movement Control Order in March and April.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group’s revenue in Q3 declined by 56% and recognized a loss after tax of RM2.412 million as compared to a profit after tax of RM1.726 million in the preceding quarter. The MCO due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in shorter business operation period during the quarter and affected the financial performance for the quarter.
