BURSA MALAYSIA –
The pre-tax profit for the second quarter of 2020 amounting to RM16.37 million is lower compared to RM47.19 million achieved in the preceding quarter. The Group’s operating revenue is lower by RM12.56 million from RM177.71 million achieved in Q1 2020 to RM165.15 million in Q2 2020. Revenue contribution from the handling of cargoes and vessel calls at Bintulu Port in Q2 2020 is RM125.27 million as against RM142.48 million in Q1 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The pre-tax profit for Q1 2020 was RM47.19 million as compared to RM49.36 million in the preceding quarter. The Group’s operating revenue is lower by RM6.74 million from RM184.45 million in Q4 2019 to RM177.71 million in Q1 2020. The higher revenue recorded at BPSB is mainly due to higher volume cargo handled and vessel calls for container.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.72 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 116.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 318 thousands
