BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an 86.34% increase in loss before tax, RM1.31 million in FY2021 to RM9.60 million in FY2022, which was in line with slower revenue trend in FY2022, and recognition of an impairment loss on goodwill of RM5 million. Moving forward, the group’s focus for FY2023 is to continue offering compelling products that are aligned with market preferences at the various price point segments and continuing its stance of financial prudence in managing its balance sheet to build resilience against impending disruptions.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
In addition to the revenue generated from the Group’s existing projects, the Company had also recognised an income from non-fulfilment of profit guarantee by vendor of about RM0.49 million during the current quarter for the shortfall in the profit guaranteed pursuant to the Share Sale Agreement dated 29 May 2015 entered into by the Company and the former shareholders of its subsidiary, AESB. Due to the recognition of this additional other income, the loss before tax improved from RM2.29 million in 2Q 2022 to RM1.63 million in 3Q 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an decreased revenue of about RM2.75 million for current quarter as compared to RM7.29 million in the preceding quarter and a LBT of RM2.29 million for current quarter as compared to a profit before tax of RM0.46 million in the preceding quarter mainly due to the shortage of foreign labour throughout Malaysia which resulted in slower development progress hence delaying the obtaining of Certificate of Completion and Compliance for Phase 1 of Project Desa 88. As such, a provision of Liquidated Ascertained Damages has been provided for in this current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current quarter was however lower by 80% than the preceding period despite the revenue growth mainly due to recognition of the additional income from nonfulfilment of profit guarantee by vendor of about RM4.17 million in the preceding period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group continuously registered profit before tax of RM2.35 million in the current quarter. The positive contributing factor leading to the higher profit in the current quarter was due to the recognition of other profit guarantee income
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s loss before tax for current quarter is RM2.65 million as compared to RM2.36 million for immediate preceding quarter. Notwithstanding that the Company has achieved a significant increase in revenue, the loss before tax for current year quarter was increased by 12% mainly attributable to the increase of development cost for Project Desa 88.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The RM2.364 million pretax loss for the quarter is lower than the RM17.873 million pre-tax loss posted by the Group in the immediate preceding quarter. With the rollout of COVID-19 vaccine in the current quarter, both Desa 88 Phase 2 and Project Sentrio have shown encouraging sales take up rates and development progress.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a pre-tax loss of RM17.9 million compared to the RM5.9 million pre-tax loss reported for the immediate preceding quarter. The sharp rise in loss is mainly due to the effects of multiple impairments made during the quarter. Had the provisions for impairment not been effected, the Group would have reported a profit before tax of RM3 million for the quarter. The delay in launch of Desa 88 Phase 2 and Project Sentrio was directly a consequence of business and COVID-19 movement control restrictions which spanned over most parts of the year
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a pre-tax loss of RM1.1 million as revenue was impacted by the COVID-19 movement control measures and was unable to support the overheads for the quarter. The RM1.1 million pre-tax loss for the quarter is lower than the RM1.7 million pre-tax loss posted by the Group in the immediate preceding quarter as construction works at Desa 88 Phase 1 project was resumed following the relaxing of the movement control measures during the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
the Group posted a pre-tax loss of RM1.7 million owing to the negligible revenue recognised which was insufficient to offset the Group’s overheads. The RM1.7 million pre-tax loss for the quarter is higher than the RM1.0 million pre-tax loss posted by the Group in the immediate preceding quarter due to the reversal of impairment loss
