BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower loss of RM2.02 million in FYE2024 compared to a loss of RM5.65 million in the previous year. The improvement was due to vigilant management of expenses and restructuring efforts such as lowering headcount, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers for raw materials, equipment and services to reduce procurement costs. Amidst the slow pace of the sand mining industry since the start of the FYE 2024, the Group has not secured new projects since its first sand dredging agreement. In addition, the Board believes that the new F&B business may enhance the Group prospects as it represents an opportunity for the Group to obtain additional stream of revenue and income in the future financial years.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Loss for the year from continuing operations was RM5.65 million compared to loss of RM16.45 million for the prior year. The Group was able to cut back its losses for FYE 2023 after taking in the impairment losses in FYE 2022. Additionally, there were further cost cutting measures in FYE 2023 such as trimming head count and moving office premises to lower rental expenses. The Group is revitalised with new leadership that is supported by capable management who is excited about new business opportunities. With a strong focus on strategic planning, cost optimisation and operational efficiency, management aims to turn the Company around and drive it towards profitability. The entry into a new business provides potential for diversification and an additional income stream.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the Group for the second quarter was marginally lower at RM0.63 million compared to RM0.70 million in the preceding quarter ended 31 May 2022. The Group recorded lower loss from continuing operations for the period of RM1.15 million compared to RM2.75 million for the preceding quarter ended 31 May 2022. Results for the last quarter ended 31 May 2022 included one-off legal expenses, penalty paid to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia to settle a court case and depreciation for leased premises which have since been terminated.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the Group was lower at RM0.70 million compared to RM0.82 million in the preceding quarter ended 28 February 2022. The Group recorded lower loss for the period of RM2.75 million compared to RM9.15 million for the preceding quarter ended 28 February 2022. Results for the last quarter ended 28 February 2022 was mainly affected by impairment losses and write-offs of receivables of about RM7.6 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a net loss of RM9.148 million, a huge decrease of RM6.148 million or 235%, as compared to the preceding quarter with a net loss of RM2.730 million. The higher net loss in current quarter arises from one-off impairment losses and written off on receivables recorded in this quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a net loss of RM2.730 million, a slight decrease of RM0.061 million or 2.2%, as compared to the preceding quarter with a net loss of RM2.791 million. The lower net loss in current quarter arises from reducing operating and administration cost in this quarter.

The Group recorded a pre-tax loss of RM2.791 million, a slight increase of RM0.11 million or 4%, as compared to the preceding quarter with a pre-tax loss of RM2.681 million. The higher pre-tax loss in current period arises from the operation has temporarily stop during the implementation of FMCO since 1 June 2021 meanwhile the fixed expenses still incurred.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted lower revenue of RM0.55 million for current quarter under review against RM1.06 million in the preceding quarter. The lower revenue in the current quarter under review was mainly due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic. The Government of Malaysia had implemented Movement Control Order (MCO) in mid-March, which temporarily disrupted the Group’s business operations. Finished goods cannot be shipped out to China as most business were lockdown,
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted lower revenue of RM1.06 million for current quarter against RM2.01 million in the preceding quarter. Lower revenue was mainly due to the Chinese New Year holidays and outbreak of coronavirus in China. The Group posted a pre-tax loss of RM1.72 million as compared to the preceding quarter pre-tax loss of RM1.03 million. Significant lower pre-tax loss was mainly due to less sales and holidays during the Chinese New Year.
