BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue and PBT for the current quarter were RM158.1 million and RM12.1 million respectively compared to revenue of RM156.5 million and PBT of RM14.4 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 30 April 2022. The Group reported higher revenue was mainly due to strong market demand in oversea market. The lower PBT was due to inventories written down of RM2.3 million in the current quarter as certain inventories were measured at its estimated net realisable value.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue and PBT for the current quarter were RM156.5 million and RM14.4 million respectively compared to revenue of RM162.0 million and profit before tax of RM14.4 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 January 2022. The Group reported lower revenue was mainly due to weak market demand in both local and oversea market.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue and PBT for the current quarter were RM162.0 million and RM14.4 million respectively compared to revenue of RM136.6 million and profit before tax of RM23.2 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 October 2021. The Group reported higher revenue was due to higher selling price. However, the Group registered a lower PBT as compared with preceding quarter due to increase of input cost.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue and PBT for the current quarter were RM136.5 million and RM23.3 million respectively compared to revenue of RM88.1 million and profit before tax of RM15.3 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 July 2021. The higher revenue and PBT for the current quarter under review as compared with the preceding quarter was mainly due to the preceding quarter decline in production capacity caused by the temporary suspension of manufacturing operations at Bukit Beruntung and Malacca’s plant in order to comply with government directives to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite significant business disruptions as a result of the lockdowns imposed, the Group successfully surmounted the challenges and uncertainties to report a historical high profit before taxation of RM82.0 million for the current financial year 2021 as compared to the previous year’s PBT of RM28 million. The improvement on PBT was mainly due to heightened average selling prices boosting profit margins. The Group will progress with its plan in building new capabilities and capacities for long-term growth, which should better position the Group to face future challenges.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue and profit before tax for the current quarter were RM88.1 million and RM15.3 million respectively compared to revenue of RM175.3 million and profit before tax of RM20.9 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 30 April 2021. The decrease in revenue and profit before taxation. were mainly due to nationwide Full Movement Control Order (“FMCO”) implemented effective from 01 June 2021 with no operation activities allowed.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a profit before taxation of RM29.8million, an increase of RM8.9 million as compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 January 2021, which was recorded at RM20.9 million. The improved performance was due to higher selling prices and improved operating cost. In addition, the allowance for diminution in value of inventories was RM2.3million lower than the immediate preceding quarter.

Astino Bhd is among the stocks which could see trading interest on Tuesday, JF Apex Research says. It said Astino has proposed a bonus issue of 219.29 million shares on the basis of four bonus shares for every five shares held.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a profit before taxation of RM20.9million, an increase of RM5.4million as compared to the preceding quarter ended 31 October 2020, which was recorded at RM15.6 million. The increased on the profit before tax for the current quarter under review was mainly due to increase in local sales from RM150million in preceding quarter to current quarter of RM169million and improvement of profit margin due to steel price increased. In addition, the allowance for diminution in value of inventories was RM3.5million lower than the immediate preceding quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 6.26 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 39.1 million and auditor’s remuneration of 151 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
PBT for the current quarter was recorded at RM76.486 million, an increase of 106.2% compared to RM37.086 million recorded in preceding quarter. The higher PBT was mainly due to lower impairment losses of RM112.012 million in current quarter as compared to RM174.368 million in preceding quarter. However, this was offset by lower revenue resulting from the Day-One net modification loss related to AEON Relief Programme amounting to RM28.409 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue has increased by 37.8% from RM92.2 million in preceding quarter to RM127.1 million in this quarter. The increase in revenue was primarily due to the business operation days was gradually swift back to normal after MCO. The Group registered a PBT of RM9.6million, an increase of RM6.0million as compared to the preceding quarter, which was recorded at RM3.6 million. The increased on PBT was mainly due to increase in local sales from RM77million to RM115million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue has decreased by 38.3% from RM149.3 million in the preceding quarter to RM92.2 million in this quarter. The decrease in revenue was primarily due to the current quarter business operation day was 26 days less than the preceding quarter which was affected by Movement Control Order.

The Group’s revenue has decreased by 2.3% from RM152.8 million in the preceding quarter to RM149.3 million in this quarter. The decrease in revenue is primarily due to decrease in oversea market demand.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 6.94 million. It was very high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 39.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 125 thousands
