BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher profit before tax of RM4.0 million as compared to the preceding quarter mainly due to the higher profit before tax contributed from the mall division, partially offset by a higher finance costs due to an increase in net borrowings and higher cost of funds.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher profit before tax of RM2.9 million as compared to the preceding quarter mainly due to higher revenue and gross profits achieved from all the business segments of the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM2.7 million as compared to RM10.8 million loss before tax recorded in the preceding quarter. The positive variance of RM13.6 million was mainly due to the absence of net loss on fair value adjustment on investment properties of RM11.1 million which was recognised in the preceding quarter, coupled with higher revenue and gross profits achieved from the Mall and Carpark operations in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower profit before tax of RM1.65 million as compared to the RM2.3 million in the preceding quarter mainly due to lower gain from investment, mitigated by lower finance costs attributed to lower net borrowings.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before tax of RM2.3 million compared to losses before tax of RM56.4 million recorded in preceding quarter. The positive variance of RM58.8 million mainly due to net fair value loss of RM30.9 million arising from the valuation of investment properties, unwinding expenses of long term payable amounting to RM11.2 million and provision for liquidated ascertained damages of RM8.6 million and higher allowance for expected credit losses of RM5.9 million being accounted for in previous quarter, complemented by the costs savings achieved from the cost containment measures undertaken by the Group which has enabled the overall administrative expenses to reduce by RM2.3 million in the current quarter under reivew.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The positive variance of RM18.2 million includes gain on quoted and unquoted investments and fair value gain from short term investments with a total value of RM21.6 million. The Group’s financial performance had shown some sign of recovery in the second quarter but was again negatively afftected by the re-implementation of the CMCO effective from October 2020 due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic after the Sabah state election.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s business had significanlty improved in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter when the governnment replaces the MCO with the Conditional and Recovery phases of the MCO and thereby reduces the pre-tax loss of RM5.2 million in the preceding quarter to pre-tax profit of RM5.1 million in the current quarter
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.99 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 19.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 346 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM5.173 million for the current quarter compared to a profit before tax of RM26.058 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The loss was mainly due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and the MCO.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher pre-tax profit of RM18.7 million as compared to preceding quarter mainly due to the unwinding of discount for a long term payable of RM150 million.

The Group recorded a lower pre-tax profit of RM7.3 million as compared to preceding quarter of RM16.7 million mainly due to lower value of work certified for on-going project, lower Turnover Rent and higher direct operating cost recorded for Mall division.
