BURSA MALAYSIA –
The improvement in revenue is attributable to higher sales in selected areas of operation with better yield and turnaround. The loss in current quarter was due to expenses in relation to corporate exercise amounting to RM0.36 million incurred for the acquisition of 40% equityminterest in Enfrasys Solution Sdn Bhd (“ESSB”), without which the pre-tax profit would be RM0.089 million.

Transocean Holdings Bhd, which is venturing into the cloud service management business, saw its share price go on a roller-coaster ride in the morning session today. Interest in the loss-making logistics company has been gaining pace after the company announced that it would be acquiring a 40% stake in software engineering firm Enfrasys Solutions Sdn Bhd for RM20 million in an all-share deal on April 14, paving its way into cloud services.

Transocean Holdings Bhd hit limit up again after rising 35 sen or 29.66% to a record high of RM1.53, following its plan to raise funds via private placement for its logistics services segment’s capital expenditure. The logistics company also announced on Wednesday that it will be acquiring a 40% stake in Enfrasys Solutions Sdn Bhd from Enfrasys Consulting Sdn Bhd for RM20 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the current Quarter loss of RM404k (232%), a total of RM220k was due a provision for potential claims by a warehouse tenant in relation to damaged cargo. The damage was caused by severe water leakage from fire fighting sprinkler system in the warehouse.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2018, the directors’ remuneration was 0.81 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 6.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 85 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The losses incurred this quarter was due to shorter operating days arising from the MCO from 18 to 31 March 2020 which brought business almost to a standstill during the MCO period and only gained 5% revenue. The huge losses of preceding Quarter was from the impairment of goodwill and bad debts provision.
