BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the financial year ended 31 May 2024, the Group reported loss before taxation (“LBT”) of RM1.9 million compared with profit before taxation (“PBT”) of RM1.2 million last year due to Logistic segment higher operating and maintenance costs. Going Forward, The Group is anticipating a moderate recovery in the next financial year as chemical prices are stabilizing. However, the fallout and impact from the continuous trade war and geopolitical tensions remains uncertain. The group will continue to explore ways to build new capabilities and capacities for long term growth.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxation increased to RM1.2 million from RM0.2 million last year. The significant improvement in PBT was primarily resulted from the completion of liquidation of Tamco Chongqing Switchgear Company Limited, a 49% associate, where the Group recognised a net gain of RM1.1 million. The pace of expansion is expected to moderate during 2023 calendar year due to the impact of high base year effects as well as the economic slowdown in key markets. Inflationary pressure remains high, and many customers are still cautionary in their outlook. The Board will continue to exercise caution in managing the business under these conditions. Management will continue to explore ways to build new capabilities and capacities for long term growth.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported PBT of RM0.2 million for the current financial quarter as compared to loss before taxation of RM1.3 million the immediate preceding financial quarter. The improvement of results is mainly due to one off corporate expenses incurred in relation to the acquisition of S5 was recognised in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current financial quarter decreased to RM7.2 million as compared to RM7.8 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Consequently, the Group reported lower PBT of RM0.4 million for current financial quarter compared to RM0.9 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. Lower revenue reported is mainly due to several clients prolong their closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current financial quarter increased to RM7.8 million from RM7.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter due to improved activities of the domestic manufacturing industries. The MCO and lockdown has depressed the result of the previous quarter. Consequently, the Group reported higher PBT of RM0.9 million for the current financial quarter as compared to PBT RM0.3 million the immediate preceding financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported lower PBT of RM0.3 million for the current financial quarter as compared to PBT RM0.5 million the immediate preceding financial quarter. This drop in revenue and profit is entirely due to the lockdown where the volume drop substantially especially for the trucking business.

As the year draws to a close, the contract winner of the RM1.5bil National Integrated Immigration System (NIIS) project is heating up in the market again. While there has yet to be any official announcement from the government, sources said Putrajaya has decided on who to award the project to. Interestingly, Ancom Logistics Bhd hit 44 sen yesterday after a seven sen or 18.9% jump. It was previously reported that S5 Holdings Inc was bidding for the NIIS project and in July, it was seeking a back-door listing through Ancom Logistics. Ancom Logistics made an announcement in July that it was acquiring S5 Holdings.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current financial quarter increased to RM7.6 million from RM6.8 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The previous quarter revenue was severely impacted by the COVID-19 Movement Control Order (“MCO”) starting from 18th March 2020. Consequently, the Group reported higher PBT of RM0.5 million for the current financial quarter as compared to PBT RM0.1 million the immediate preceding financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted lower revenue of RM6.8 million for the current financial quarter as compared with RM8.3 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Consequently, the Group reported lower PBT of RM0.1 million for the current financial quarter as compared to PBT RM0.8 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. This drop in revenue and profit is entirely due to MCO where volume had drop substantially especially for the trucking business.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted higher revenue of RM8.3 million for the current quarter as compared with RM7.9 million in the preceding quarter. Consequently, the Group reported higher PBT of RM0.8 million for the current quarter as compared to PBT RM0.4 million in the preceding quarter.
