BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax (“PBT”) rose by a stellar 107.3% to RM103.1 million as compared to the RM49.7 million posted in FY2021. This was primarily attributable to price increases and the normalisation of investments in ABO sales incentives as sales growth returned to normal. Moving Forward, Amway will continue to invest strategically and prudently in specific areas including ABO and APC-centric incentive programmes, new product launches and promotions, health-centric communities, as well as digital platforms and the related delivery infrastructure.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the current quarter ended 30 September 2022 was 4.8% higher than the preceding quarter mainly driven by new launch of health bundles riding on the new Double X supplements. The Group’s profit before tax for the current quarter ended 30 September 2022 increased by 22.3% compared to the preceding quarter mainly attributed by higher sales and true up of sales incentive.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current quarter ended 30 June 2022 decreased by 24.9% compared to the preceding quarter mainly attributed by lower sales and timing difference in sales and marketing events.

The Group’s profit before tax for the current quarter ended 31 March 2022 increased more than 14 times as compared to the preceding quarter mainly due to true up adjustment in view of the higher pay-out for ABO’s bonus and selling expenses in preceding quarter.

Group revenue for the current quarter ended 31 December 2021 was higher than the preceding quarter by 2.2% due to continuous demand from the increased customer out of APC programme. The Group’s profit before tax however, decreased by 83.2% as compared to the preceding quarter mainly due to new sales incentive plan introduced since beginning of the year as well as true up adjustment in view of the higher pay-out for the ABO’s performance year ended 31 August 2021.

The Group’s profit before tax however, decreased by 1.1% as compared to the preceding quarter mainly due to higher pay-out of early incentives and higher incentives provision in view of higher number of qualifiers.

The Group’s profit before tax however, decreased by 60.2% as compared to the preceding quarter due to the higher sales incentive and increase in ABO related expenses in line with higher sales and true up adjustments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the current quarter ended 31 March 2021 was higher than the preceding quarter by 11.9% due to stronger demand for nutrition and wellness products, home appliances and new customer segment namely Amway Privileged Customer (APC) program launched in January 2021. The Group’s profit before tax increased by 432.7% as compared to the preceding quarter due to higher sales volume and lower selling and administrative expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the third quarter ended 30 September 2020 increased by 15% compared with the preceding quarter largely due to continuous demand for immunity boosting products and new launches. The Group’s profit before tax in quarter three however declined by 5% due to noncash award cancellation cost adjustment in second quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the current quarter ended 30 June 2020 was higher than the preceding quarter by 20% due to favorable response towards marketing promotions and home appliances. Profit before tax increased by 60% as compared to the preceding quarter as a result of higher revenue couple with lower operating expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the current quarter ended 31 March 2020 was lower than the preceding quarter by 7.3% due to shop closure following the government’s imposition of Movement Control Order (“MCO”) to control the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19. Despite lower revenue, the Group’s profit before tax increased by 20.7% as compared to the preceding quarter due to lower operating expenses.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 3.44 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 37 million and auditor’s remuneration of 205 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for the Q4 ended 31 December 2019 was RM252.998 million as compared to RM235.065 million in preceding quarter due to positive ABO momentum towards the new PY 2020 and favorable response for marketing promotions. Despite higher revenue, the Group’s profit before tax for Q4 2019 was RM11.500 million, dropped by 19.3% compared to Q3 2019 of RM14.242 million due to higher SG&A and distribution expenses.
