For FY2022, Ajiya’s net profit increased to RM30.9 million in FY2022 from RM19.3 million in FY2021. The earnings growth was attributable to higher product selling price, and good cost control practices to mitigate the inflationary pressure. In addition, the share gain in other investments also contributed to better earnings. Going forward, Ajiya expects to maintain its financial resilience. Its strategic alliance and synergy with Chin Hin Group, and the Group’s proactive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, and costs optimising will further improve the demand for the Group’s metal, safety glass and AGiBS offering.
