BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Company recorded an operating loss of RM0.2 million in the current quarter as compared to the operating loss of RM19.0 million in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to lower selling and administration expenses in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Company recorded an operating loss of RM19.0 million in the current quarter as compared to the operating profit of RM11.9 million in the immediate preceding quarter due to hike in purchase price of key raw materials, higher depreciation, computer software and hardware maintenance costs and other administration expenses in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Operating profit was RM11.9 million in the current quarter was better than the operating profit of RM11.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter even though the Company incurred higher selling and administration expenses in the current quarter. Profit before tax in the current quarter of RM12.0 million was also higher than that of the immediate preceding quarter of RM11.6 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Operating profit was RM11.9 million in the current quarter was better than the operating profit of RM11.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter even though the Company incurred higher selling and administration expenses in the current quarter. Profit before tax in the current quarter of RM12.0 million was also higher than that of the immediate preceding quarter of RM11.6 million. The higher revenue was mainly contributed by increased sales revenue and volume of AJI-NOMOTO in the domestic and export markets in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue in the current quarter was RM115.0 million as compared to RM119.4 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly attributed to lower sales revenue and volume of AJI-NOMOTO in the domestic market in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The higher revenue was contributed by higher sales revenue in both Consumer Business and Industrial Business segment in the current quarter. However, the operating profit was RM6.6 million in the current quarter as compared to the operating profit of RM15.6 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly attributed to higher advertising and sales promotion expenses incurred in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The operating profit was RM17.3 million in the current quarter as compared to the operating profit of RM18.7 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease was attributed to higher sales promotion and distribution expenses in the current quarter
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 4.71 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 60.1 million and auditor’s remuneration of 148 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue in the current quarter was RM95.1 million as compared to RM120.8 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The lower revenue was attributed to lower sales volume of AJI-NOMOTO in the domestic and export market during the current quarter. Lower sales revenue in the Consumer Business segment resulted in lower operating profit of RM18.7 million in the current quarter than the operating profit of RM19.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue in the current quarter was RM120.8 million as compared to RM119.0 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The higher revenue was contributed by higher sales volume of AJI-NOMOTO in the domestic and export market during the current quarter. Higher sales revenue and lower production costs in the Consumer Business segment resulted in better operating profit of RM19.1 million in the current quarter than the operating profit of RM17.6 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue in the current quarter was RM119.0 million as compared to RM121.3 million in preceding quarter. The lower revenue was due to lower sales volume in both Consumer Business and Industrial Business segments. However, the shortfall in revenue was mitigated by lower advertising expenses in the current quarter as compared to preceding quarter. As a result, operating profit was sustained at RM17.6 million.
