BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue was 45% higher in the year under review due to increased contributions from Civil Engineering and Bituminous Products divisions, which contributed to the Group’s significantly improved performance. As a result, loss before tax in FYE2023 narrowed by more than half by RM16.43 million or 67.4%. In 2024, Asian Development Bank has projected the Malaysian economy to expand by 4.9%. As this period forms the basis of our FYE2024, we take comfort in the optimistic enablers for growth, yet at the same time remain vigilant against the uncertain macroeconomic outlook with heightened inflationary pressures and labour shortage in the country.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group performance has improved at a profit before tax of RM0.19 million as compared to loss before tax of RM1.49 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to increase in demand of all segment products. The Group recorded a positive EBITDA of RM2.16 million for the quarter.

The Group performance has recorded a loss before tax of RM1.49 million as compared to loss before tax of RM1.66 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to increase in margins and cost-cutting initiatives.The Group’s active operations recorded a positive EBITDA of RM0.43 million for the quarter.

The Group performance has recorded a loss before tax of RM1.65 million as compared to loss before tax of RM12.15 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to cost-cutting initiatives as well as the absence of one-off write downs and impairments in the previous quarter. The Group’s active operations recorded a negative EBITDA of RM0.87 million for the quarter

The Group performance has recorded a loss before tax of RM12.15 million as compared to loss before tax of RM3.13 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to additional rectifying works required, impairment of receivables as well as write down of assets held for sale. The Group’s active operations recorded a negative EBITDA of RM6.05 million for the quarter.

The Group performance has recorded a loss before tax of RM3.13 million as compared to loss before tax of RM4.72 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to reduced demand from the customers due to the imposition of FMCO. The Group’s active operations recorded a negative EBITDA of RM1.63 million for the quarter.

The Group performance has recorded a loss before tax of RM4.34 million as compared to profit before tax of RM7.06 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter due mainly due to disrupted operations and reduced demand from the customers due to the FMCO resulting in lower revenue.

REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 3.9 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 13.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 174 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue decreased to RM9.62 million as compared to RM21.69million in the preceding quarter, due to lower demand from the market during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM2.88 million as compared to loss before tax of RM11.08 million recorded in the preceding quarter due mainly to impairment of intangible assets and provision for bad debts.

The civil engineering segment’s revenue increased to RM13.32 million as compared to RM9.55 million in the preceding quarter, due to more works undertaken. The Group performance has decreased to loss of RM11.08 million as compared to profit before tax of RM0.46 million in the preceding quarter due to impairment of intangible assets and provision for bad debts.

MINETEC (10 JAN 20) Minetech Resources Bhd has bagged a RM27.69 million contract to undertake upgrading works along the Cheras Kajang Expressway for the proposed Emerald 9 Cheras development in Cheras, Selangor.
