BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a net loss after tax of RM1.11 million as oppose to a net profit after tax of RM9.66 million recorded in the previous financial year mainly due to the impairment of trade receivables totalling RM14.09 million during the financial year. Moving Forward, the Group completed the acquisition of a 70% subsidiary, namely ESPRAT as it expands its existing range of services in provision of welding habitats for the oil and gas industry. As for the downstream sector, the Group intends to build its strength in this field by actively bidding for more projects while recruiting more experience workforce to handle the segment. The Group continues to pursue opportunities in the Renewable Energy (“RE”) segments which includes Solar Energy and Electric Vehicle (“EV”) infrastructure projects. These include evaluating and reassessing the strategies in pursuing opportunities in these areas. To date, the Group has secured small scale solar projects and are in the midst of pursuing EV infrastructure projects in several states.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an increase in revenue across all segment by RM13.60 million or 42.89% in the financial quarter Q3/22 as compared to the preceding financial quarter Q2/22. The increase in revenue was contributed mostly from the EPC and project management segment by RM10.73 million as the increase in work progress of BAGSF 2 project. The supply of manpower segment contributed RM2.30 million increase in revenue due to higher demand by the rig operators during this financial quarter Q3/22.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increase in administrative expenses for the current financial quarter ended Q3/21 is mainly due to higher staff headcount within the Group which leads to higher staff cost. Despite the increase in administrative expenses, the Group was able to generate higher PBT by RM1.30 million for current financial quarter ended Q3/21 as compared to preceding financial quarter ended Q2/21.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increased PBT by 16.75% was due to unrealised gain on foreign exchange amounting to RM0.22 million in comparison to RM0.17 million in Q1/20. Besides, there was a decreased in administrative expenses due to the decrease in staff costs in Q1/21 as compared to Q4/20 as there was staff bonus payout amounting to RM0.32 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Adjusted profit before tax of the Group for current financial quarter was RM2.99 million, represent a slight increase as compared to RM2.95 million in the preceding financial quarter even though there is a decrease in revenue. Higher adjusted profit before tax margin recorded was mainly due to increase in demand for EPC services after MCO ended during this period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an increase in revenue of RM1.84 million or 12.19% in current quarter ended 30 June 2020 as compared to preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020. The increase is mainly contributed by the manpower segment arising from the charging of the costs of quarantine being wages, accommodation, meals as well as service of healthcare professionals and security staff during the movement control order (“MCO”) period to customers.
