BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a loss before tax of RM4.58 million in FY2022 as compared to a profit before taxation of RM11.5 million in the previous year. The adverse change was due to depressed gross margin mainly caused by sudden steel price reduction. Going forward, the group made an investments in R&D projects with academic and industry partners in order to maintain their position as one of the leading brands in the region by ensuring that they continuously deliver innovative and affordable products. The group aim to introduce more products next year.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a pre-tax loss of RM5.18 million as compared to a pre-tax profit of RM2.94 million in the previous quarter. The poor performance in 3Q22 was mainly due to the rapid and substantial decrease in the average selling price of steel products which resulted in the fall of gross profit margin by more than 10% compared to the preceding quarter. Further, the financial result is accentuated by lower sales as the steel sector turned cautions with the downturn in steel price.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM2.94 million as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM0.79 million in the previous quarter. In terms of operating results, the current quarter registered a higher turnover of 30%. The operating profit for the period was RM6.11 million versus RM0.43 million, an increase of 1311%. The better performance in 2Q22 was mainly due to higher gross profit margin by about 2.9% coupled with higher sales volume by about 16%.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a pre-tax losses of RM0.79 million as compared to a pre-tax profit of RM3.50 million in the previous quarter. In terms of operating results, the current quarter registered a lower turnover of 18.7%. The operating profit for the period was RM0.43 million verses RM6.73 million, a decrease of 94%. The lower performance in 1Q22 was mainly due to lower gross profit margin by about 5% coupled with lower sales volume by about 16%. The price volatility during the period has impacted the product margin significantly as the average cost of material is higher compared to the selling price.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM3.50 million as compared to a pre-tax profit of RM3.20 million in the previous quarter for the continuing operations. In terms of operating results, the current quarter registered a higher turnover of 33.6%. The operating profit for the period was RM6.73 million versus RM6.24 million, an increase of 8.0%. The sales volume during the quarter was lower by 8.0% but the impact was mitigated by a better average selling price of its products.

The Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM3.20 million as compared to a pre-tax profit of RM3.13 million in the previous quarter for the continuing operations. The sales volume during the quarter was lower by 20.6%

In terms of operating result, the current quarter registered a higher turnover of 4.69%. The operating profit for the period was RM5.14 million versus RM2.13 million, an improvement of 141.53%. The better result was aided by higher gross margin and higher turnover.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM2.61 million as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM2.37 million in the previous quarter. This was mainly due to suspension of operation during Movement Control Order in the preceding quarter. The Group also reported better gross profit margin at 17.8% which directly contributed to the positive bottom line of the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the quarter under review, the Group recorded a pre-tax loss of RM2.37 million as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM0.74 million in the previous quarter. This is mainly due to suspension of operation during Movement Control Order. The Group’s gross profit margin also reduced by about 1.8% in the current quarter under review which resulted in lower gross profit contribution to the operation by about RM3.0 million.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 5.87 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 20.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 180 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the quarter under review, the Group recorded a pre-tax loss of RM0.74 million as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM0.03 million in the previous quarter. The Group’s gross profit margin reduced by about 0.7% in the current quarter under review which resulted in lower gross profit contribution to the operation by about 17%. The Group is impacted by the Movement Control Order imposed by the government due to Covid-19 pandemic.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
In the current quarter, the Group registered a consolidated profit before tax of RM0.8 million compared to loss of RM0.7 million in the preceding quarter mainly due to better sales mix.
