BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a Profit Before Tax (PBT) for FY2022 amounting to RM53.47 million which was 8.36% lower thanRM58.35 million registered in the previous financial year attribute by lower PBT in CSS Division. Moving Ahead, the group look forward to participate in the opportunities presented from both local and foreign direct investments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the quarter under review, the Group had achieved a higher profit before taxation of RM15.356 million as compared to RM12.813 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before taxation is mainly due to higher revenue generated, higher net forex gain, higher interest income and lower administration cost incurred during the quarter under review as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group had achieved a higher profit before taxation of RM12.813 million as compared to RM9.710 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before taxation is mainly due to higher profit margins achieved on goods sold during the quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group had achieved a lower profit before taxation of RM9.710 million as compared to RM15.595 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in profit before taxation is mainly due to lower revenue generated, lower profit margins achieved on goods sold and higher selling and distribution expenses incurred during the quarter under review.

The Group had achieved a lower profit before taxation of RM15.595 million as compared to RM23.082 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in profit before taxation is mainly due to lower revenue generated, lower profit margins achieved on goods sold and higher administrative expenses incurred during the quarter under review.

The Group had achieved a higher profit before taxation of RM23.082 million as compared to RM10.692 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before taxation is mainly due to higher revenue generated during the quarter under review arising from the gradual reopening of the Malaysia economy towards the end of 2021.

The Group had achieved a profit before taxation of RM12.183 million in the current quarter as compared to RM12.394 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The marginal decrease in profit before taxation is mainly due to lower revenue generated from both Cable Support Systems and Electrical Lighting and Fittings division during the quarter under review amid the implementation of total lockdown and Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus since June 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group had achieved a profit before taxation of RM12.394 million as compared to RM4.970 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before taxation is mainly due to better profit margins achieved on goods sold for both Cable Support Systems and Electrical Lighting and Fittings division during the quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group had a higher loss before taxation of RM4.463 million as compared to RM0.467 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in loss before taxation during the quarter under review is mainly due to lower revenue generated amid the MCO lockdown caused by the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 5.12 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 11.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 164 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group had a loss before taxation of RM0.467 million as compared to a profit before taxation of RM2.243 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in profit before taxation is mainly due to lower revenue generated, higher labour costs, higher administrative expenses during the quarter under review and partly due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the MCO lockdown subsequently issued by the Malaysian Government.
