BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the three months ended 30 September 2022 was lower by 4% compared to the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to lower revenue at Plantation Division by 23% and an increase in Healthcare Division by 26% as compared to immediate preceding quarter. The Group recorded lower LBT of RM12.4 million during the quarter, compared to PBT of RM4.7 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue was lower by 13% compared to the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to lower revenue at both Plantation and Healthcare Division by 19% and 4% respectively. The Group recorded lower PBT of RM17.0 million during the quarter, compared to PBT of RM67.7 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
The Edge –
TDM Bhd’s TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd has received International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) valid from March 17 until March 16, 2022. It is the first plantation company in Terengganu to receive such certification. The ISCC, approved by the European Commission, is accorded to the plantation division of TDM Bhd, following an independent technical review of its supply chain, operations and greenhouse gas calculations at the company’s South Zone operation units.

Hong Leong Capital Bhd (HLCAP) announced that Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd (HLFG) had disposed of 27 million shares or a 10.94% stake in HLCAP in a move to increase the company’s public shareholding spread. Following the disposal, HLFG’s stake in HLCAP has been reduced to 173.8 million shares or 70.396%. The shares were disposed of via a private placement, but the party or parties involved in the placement exercise were not revealed

The oil palm planter and healthcare operator said Zainal Abidin and group chairman Raja Datuk Idris Kamarudin disagreed over trade contract issues, practices and queries involving its subsidiary’s palm oil trading activities.

The Group recorded PBT of RM27.7 million during the quarter, compared to LBT of RM17.9 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The Plantation Division recorded higher revenue by 49% mainly due to Higher CPO and PK average prices and Higher sales volume of CPO and PK. The Healthcare Division recorded a higher revenue by 38% mainly due to the increase in number of inpatient and outpatient, compared to the immediate preceding quarter which was mainly affected from the imposition of MCO.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the three months ended 30 June 2020 was lower by 22% compared to the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to lower Healthcare revenue. It is due to the decrease in number of inpatient and outpatient by 57% and 34% respectively from the imposition of MCO.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Plantation Division recorded lower revenue by 3% mainly due to lower CPO and PK sales volume by 27% and 13% respectively. However, this is partly offset with higher CPO and PK average prices by 16% and 14% respectively. Healthcare Division recorded 8% decreased in revenue mainly due to decrease number of inpatient and outpatient by 7% and 3% respectively, compared to the preceding quarter which was mainly affected from the MCO.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.18 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 105.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 459 thousands

10 MAR 20 – TDM Bhd, which had confirmed one case of coronavirus (Covid-19) at its Taman Desa Medical Centre (TDMC) here five days ago, says the 43 health care workers who have been tested for the virus have all received the all-clear.
