BURSA MALAYSIA –
PBT for Q4FY2021 hiked from RM16.7 million to RM23.2 million as against preceding quarter, an increase of RM6.5 million (239.6 per cent). IBS segment recorded an increase of RM3.3 million (48.3 per cent) from RM6.9 million to RM10.3 million. DBS segment recorded a decline of RM0.8 million (6.4 per cent) from RM13.3 million to RM12.5 million. Apart from PBT generated from operating business segments, Support segment contributed an increase in PBT of RM4.0 million (38.7 per cent). The increase was largely attributable to realised/unrealised gain on forex arising from strengthened MYR against the preceding quarter.
The Star –
Tasco Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with MAB Kargo Sdn Bhd for logistics delivery services of Covid-19 vaccines. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Tuesday, Tasco said the MoU was to collaborate and provide seamless end-to-end logistics delivery services of Covid-19 vaccines from point of manufacture to the point of use in Malaysia, adding that MoU is for a period of 12 months.
The Edge –
Total logistics solution provider Tasco Bhd was on the lookout for a partner in the last-mile logistics market and found it in GD Express Carrier Bhd. On Dec 8, Tasco and GDEX had entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to lay the groundwork for more comprehensive cooperation ahead. Under the MoU, Tasco will be given priority to leverage GDEX’s last-mile fulfilment capabilities, while GDEX can tap Tasco’s international logistics network as well as its local cold supply chain infrastructure and convenience retail logistics network.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of the second quarter ended 30 September 2020 (“Q2FY2021”) was registered at RM229.5 million, as against revenue of RM178.6 million of the preceding quarter ended 30 June 2020. This represents an increase of RM50.9 million (28.5 per cent). International Business Solutions segment continued to contribute higher revenue in Q2FY2021 by posting an increase of RM11.4 million (14.9 per cent), from RM76.4 million to RM87.8 million. On the other hand, businesses of Domestics Business Solutions segment has been picking up since the relaxation of MCO. It saw an increase of revenue of RM39.5 million (38.6 per cent), from RM102.2 million to RM141.7 million as against preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the first quarter (“Q1FY2021”) was recorded at RM178.6 million, as against revenue of RM186.2 million of the preceding quarter. International Business Solutions segment continued to contribute higher revenue by posting an increase of RM18.8 million (32.7 per cent) while Domestics Business Solutions segment recorded significant decline in revenue by RM26.5 million (20.6 per cent) as against preceding quarter, due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown from mid-March 2020 to early May 2020.

In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 4.8 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 132.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 259 thousands
