BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a LBT of RM1.02 million for the current quarter ended 31 May 2024 as compared to PBT of RM17.17 recorded in preceding year corresponding quarter mainly due to fewer vessels were delivered. Going Forward, Indonesia is in the market of wide-ranging critical minerals pact to boost its economy. According to Mordor Intelligence, the Indonesia coal market is expected to witness a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of more than 6% during the forecast period between 2024 to 2029. Over the long term, factors like increasing electricity demand and supportive government policies are expected to drive the market. The group remains optimistic about their prospects as the group is well-positioned to benefit from the steady development of mining industry and strong client base in Indonesia.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for FYE2023 stood at RM16.83 million, as compared to a loss of RM0.81 million for FYE2022. The current year’s profit was mainly due to the gain on foreign exchange and a one-off gain arising from the derecognition of a subsidiary. The Group will focus on the transportation, port operations and mining industries in the short and medium term. In view of the expected recovery of the global economy and the encouraging developments in the mining industry in Indonesia, the Group remains optimistic about our prospects to achieve higher growth in revenue and profits.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher revenue of RM9.62 million representing an increase of RM6.94 million or 260% higher than the preceding quarter. The higher revenue during the current quarter was due to revenue recognition upon delivery of completed vessel. Loss before tax for the current quarter amounting to RM0.15 million as compared with preceding quarter loss of RM0.89 million representing a decrease of RM0.75 million over the preceding quarter. The improvement was mainly due to profit recognised on vessel delivered during the current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Loss before tax for the current quarter amounting to RM0.89 million as compared with preceding quarter profit of RM1.68 million representing a decrease of RM2.57 million over the preceding quarter. The profit before tax recorded during preceding quarter was mainly due to profit recognised on vessels delivered.

Profit before tax for the current quarter amounting to RM1.69 million as compared with preceding quarter loss of RM1.94 million representing an increase of RM3.63 million over the preceding quarter. The Group recorded lower revenue of RM8.92 million representing a decrease of RM3.18 million or 26% lower than the preceding quarter. The lower revenue was due to less vessels were delivered during the current quarter.

Profit before tax for the current quarter amounting to RM4.83 million as compared with preceding quarter loss of RM2.20 million representing an increase of RM7.03 million over the preceding quarter. The higher profit before tax recorded during current quarter was mainly due to profit recognised on vessels delivery and contracts on hand.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher revenue of RM3.18 million representing an increase of RM1.5 million or 89% higher than the preceding quarter. The higher revenue was due to more revenue was recognised over time based on the terms of the shipbuilding contracts during the current quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.22 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 116 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM1.69 million representing a decrease of RM0.2 million or 13% lower than the preceding quarter. The lower revenue was due to no vessel was delivered during the current quarter. Loss before tax for the current quarter amounting to RM69.37 million as compared with preceding quarter loss of RM5.58 million representing an increase of RM63.79 million over the preceding quarter. The higher loss recorded during current quarter was mainly due to write down in inventories value and impairment loss on deposits.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM1.49 million representing a decrease of RM4.68 million or 76% lower than the preceding quarter. Higher revenue in preceding quarter was attributable to revenue recognised on delivery of two units of vessel. Loss before tax for the current quarter amounting to RM5.58 million as compared with preceding quarter loss of RM0.84 million representing a decrease of RM4.73 million over the preceding quarter. The lower profit recorded during current quarter was mainly due to write down in inventories value .
