BURSA MALAYSIA –
Tanco was committed to forging strategic alliances with esteemed partners, ensuring a consistent supply of building materials on favourable payment terms. Our acquisition of Gplex Properties Sdn. Bhd. has also positively contributed to our financial performance. As a result of these strategic moves, Tanco transitioned from a net loss of RM13.048 million in FY2022 to achieving a net profit of RM20.922 million in FY2023. The Group stands on the cusp of transformative growth, with expansive strategies and collaborations across its property, construction, and pharmaceutical domains. These diversified forays are evidence of the Group’s commitment to capitalising on emergent market opportunities in order to achieve sustainable growth potential.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit after taxation (“PAT”) of RM11.8 million in current quarter as compared to a loss after taxation (“LAT”) of RM1.3 million in preceding quarter ended 30 September 2022 mainly resulting from a higher revenue generated from property development/management and construction segment, and a higher finance income in the current period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower loss after taxation (“LAT”) of RM1.3 million as compared to RM3.6 million in preceding quarter ended 30 June 2022 mainly resulting from a higher revenue generated from property development/management and construction segment in the current period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group stated a loss before tax of RM12.98 million in the FYE 30 June 2022, a decrease in losses of approximately RM0.75 million as compared to the preceding year under review. Although a slight recovery can be seen from construction sector, the uneven pace of recovery across the remaining sectors was clearly reflected in the financial results. In view of cautious consumer sentiments for property purchases for the next 12 months, the Property segment will focus on progressively delivering the vacant possession on Tower 2 Service Suites and selling the remaining units. The Group may look to launch Tower 3 Service Suites when consumer sentiment turns more positive on property purchases. The Group’s Pharmaceutical segment is currently engaging with Universiti Malaya on “Effect of NODEN Supplement Against Dengue Infection: A Clinical Trial Study” on the efficacy of herbal compounds and extracts as the management expect the UM Clinical Trial Study to complete by first half of 2023.

The Group recorded a lower loss after taxation (“LAT”) of RM3.5 million as compared to RM4.1 million in preceding quarter ended 31 March 2022 mainly resulting from a higher revenue generated from construction segment in the current quarter. The increase in revenue during the current quarter under review is mainly attributable to higher revenue generated from the construction segment.

The Group recorded a higher loss after taxation of RM4.1 million as compared to LAT of RM2.9 million in preceding quarter ended 31 December 2021 mainly resulting from a higher administrative expenses in the current quarter

The Group recorded a revenue of RM0.6 million in the current quarter ended 30 September 2021 as compared to a revenue of RM2.2 million in the preceding quarter ended 30 June 2021. The decrease in revenue during the current quarter under review is mainly due to lower revenue generated from property development and management segment.

The Group recorded a loss after taxation (“LAT”) of RM2.8 million in current quarter ended 31 March 2021 as compared to LAT of RM2.5 million in preceding quarter ended 31 December 2020 mainly resulting from a higher administrative expenses in the current quarter.

The Group recorded a revenue at RM0.6 million as compared to RM0.5 million in the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020. The increase in revenue is mainly due to higher revenue generated from property development and management segment and resorts and club operation and management segment. The Group recorded a loss after taxation of RM7.9 million in current quarter as compared to LAT of RM3.2 million in preceding quarter mainly resulting from a higher cost of sales and administrative expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM0.5 million in the current quarter as compared to RM2.0 million in the preceding quarter ended 31 December 2019. The decrease in revenue is mainly due to lower revenue generated from property development and management segment. The Group recorded a LAT of RM3.2 million in current quarter as compared to LAT of RM1.7 million in preceding quarter mainly resulting from a lower revenue generated and lower cost of sales.
INVESTING MALAYSIA –
5 MAR 20 – Tanco Holdings Bhd is settling RM17.08 million worth of debt owed to major shareholder and group managing director Andrew Tan Jun Suan via the issuance of 341.59 million new shares in the group at 0.5 sen each.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM2.0 million in the current quarter ended 31 December 2019 as compared to RM0.2 million in the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue is mainly due to higher revenue generated from property development and management segment. The Group recorded a LAT of RM1.7 million in current quarter as compared to LAT of RM4.3 million in preceding quarter mainly resulting from a higher revenue generated and lower cost of sales.
