BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a full year PBT of RM81.87 million, considerably lower than the RM113.98 million achieved a year ago. The lower PBT is mainly attributable to the lower toll compensation this year and share of losses of associates. Going forward, The group expect to secure the requisite approvals from the authorities for Rasau Projects in 2023 where they will be able to recognise a significant contribution in 2023 and 2024. The successful completion of the Rasau Projects is one of their top priorities and every effort is made towards achieving this goal.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the lower revenue, the Group’s PBT increased to RM25.05 million from RM22.02 million in the preceding quarter. The better financial performance was primarily attributable to higher toll compensation in the joint venture as well as from the Gain on Modification on Leases in the current quarter. However, the higher PBT was also impacted by higher share of losses of associates, maintenance and rehabilitation expenses, provision for heavy repairs of RM1.08 million as compared to a reversal of over-provision of heavy repair of RM2.89 million in preceding quarter, depreciation and amortisation of RM12.11 million (RM11.40 million) as well as lower net returns from interest income, dividend and net gain on redemption from investments designated at FVTPL of RM1.41 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
On the back of higher revenue, the Group’s PBT increased to RM22.02 million from RM17.77 million. Nevertheless, the increase in the Group PBT was impacted by lower net returns of RM1.52 million (Q2FY22: RM2.31 million) from interest income, dividend and net gain on redemption from investments designated at FVTPL in the current quarter and higher share of losses from associates during the current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
In terms of PBT, the decrease of RM53.4 million is in line with the decrease in revenue, coupled with a lower share of profit from associates and joint venture in the current quarter. In addition, the lower PBT was also attributable to higher rehabilitation and maintenance in SSP1 operation as well as lower net returns of RM0.4 million (Q3FY21: RM1.6 million) from interest income, dividend, and net gain on redemption from investments designated at FVTPL in the current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
PBT was lower at RM16.7 million compared to RM19.1 million mainly due to lower share of results of joint-venture wherein Grand Sepadu received toll compensation of RM16.97 million in the previous quarter
The Edge –
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) will call for tenders for the first phase of the Rasau water treatment plant valued at about RM4 billion next year, according to its CEO Suhaimi Kamaralzaman. Among the public-listed companies with expertise in water treatment plants are Salcon Bhd, Taliworks Corp Bhd, and Selangor State government-controlled Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPS).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an increase in revenue from RM76.1 million to RM82.6 million mainly due to higher contribution from toll business, offset by lower revenue from water treatment, supply and distribution business.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a decrease in revenue from RM84.3 million to RM76.1 million mainly due to lower contribution from water and toll businesses, offset by higher revenue from construction division. The toll division’s revenue was impacted by the MCO with the ADT at the Cheras-Kajang Highway and Grand Sepadu Highway continue to drop from previous quarter. Likewise, the revenue from water treatment, supply and distribution business is lower due to the drop in metered sales recorded in SSP1 and Langkawi operations.

In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.52 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 39.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 357 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded decrease in revenue from RM105.5 million to RM84.3 million mainly due to lower revenue contribution from all business segments, particularly the construction business due to substantial completion of two projects at the end of 2019 and cessation of construction activities during the MCO. The Group recorded a PBT of RM21.2 million compared to a LBT of RM9.4 million in the previous quarter mainly due to the Loss on Disposal of Receivable in the previous quarter.
