BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group recorded Loss Before Tax (“LBT”) of RM366.8 million in FY2022 as compared to Loss Before Tax of RM146 million in FY2021 mainly due to lower revenue. Moving forward, Eversendai UAE concluded a major construction contract in the 1st quarter of 2022 which will help to reach a commendable position with better performance in the market, in the upcoming future (2022-2023). Also, Qatar’s National Vision aims at transforming Qatar into an advanced country by 2030, sustaining its own development and providing for a high standard of living for all of its people for generations to come and enable the private sector to play an essential role in achieving sustainable development. With this vision, Eversendai Qatar’s possible trend, outlook and sustainability will be a bullish trend progressing over the years from 2022 to 2030 by securing most of the projects and maximizing the fabrication factory capacity, alongside the optimum utilization of the Group fabrication facilities across the Asian Region.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s total loss before taxation of RM98.6 million in current quarter, an increase in loss of RM81.4 million from corresponding quarter of previous year loss before taxation of RM12.3 million. The increase in loss is mainly due to under-utilisation of the Group’s Fabrication facilities, with utilisation averaging at 21%, resulting in under recovery of fixed costs, coupled with adjustment of contract values and margins for some projects, finance costs and provision for impairment of receivables.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and loss before tax of RM174.9 million and RM67.9 million respectively in the current quarter as compared to revenue of RM223.5 million and loss before tax of RM28.7 million in the immediately preceding Quarter with the increase in loss before tax mainly due to under-utilization of the Group’s fabrication facilities, adjustment of contract values and margins for some projects and provision for impairment of receivables in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue and loss before tax of RM223.5 million and RM28.7 million respectively in the current quarter as compared to revenue of RM320.9 million and loss before tax of RM126.3 million in the immediate preceding Quarter. Decrease in loss before tax was mainly due to under-utilization of the Group’s fabrication facilities, adjustment of contract values and impairment on receivables in immediately preceding Quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before taxation of RM123.9 million, an increase of RM60.1 million from 4Q 2020 gross loss of RM63.7 million. The deterioration in performance was due to under-utilisation of the Group’s fabrication facilities, adjustment of contract values of projects due to global downturn and impairment of receivables.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM1.2 million the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM9.7 million in the previous year’s corresponding quarter. The improvement in loss before tax was primarily due to significant reduction in operating and administrative expenses as an outcome of better management of expenses and cost control actions taken. The reduction in loss before tax was also attributable to increase in other income mainly from sales of scrap.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported the revenue and LBT of RM429.5 million and RM49.1 million respectively in the current quarter as compared to revenue of RM260.5 million and LBT of RM33.1 million in the immediate preceding quarter showing some recoveries during RMCO and CMCO. Increase in LBT mainly due to impairment on receivables of RM52.8 million in Q4 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM26.1 million during the current quarter when compared to the preceding year corresponding quarter profit before tax of RM11.1 million. This was mainly due to lower gross profit in-tandem with lower revenue and foreign exchange losses amounted to RM2.7 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM228.5 million, decreased by RM171.1 or 42.8% from the preceding corresponding quarter of RM399.6 million and recorded operating loss of RM3.2 million, decreased by RM30.3 million or 111.8% from operating profit of RM27.1 million in preceding corresponding quarter. The lower revenue was due to delayed progress on planned sites which is also partially attributable to the pandemic Covid-19 lockdown.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 9.59 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 322.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 1139 thousands

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved total revenue of RM362.5 million for current quarter, which is RM130.0 million or 26% lower than preceding year corresponding quarter of RM 492.5 million. It recorded a profit before tax of RM0.8 million during the current quarter when compared to the preceding year corresponding quarter’s profit before tax of RM26.1 million. This was mainly caused by losses recorded in the Energy sector.
