BURSA MALAYSIA –
The much-improved revenue had led to a significant increase in profit after tax for the Group at RM24.8 million in FY2023 as compared to RM10.6 million in FY2022, recording a 134.3% increase. Improvement in gross profit margin (31.1% to 31.5% in FY2023), efficient control over administrative and selling and distribution expenses have all contributed to the impressive performance for this financial year. With continuous investments, product innovation, convergence capabilities, pricing strategies and capturing of new markets, the leadership team is optimistic about the prospects for year 2024 and beyond
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for the current financial quarter under review decreased by RM2.48 million (or 21.40%) to RM9.11 million as compared to RM11.59 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. The increase in revenue was mainly due to increase in revenue generated from wholesale segment through the continuing efforts in expansion of customer base and delivery fleet. Decrease in profit before tax was mainly due to increase of raw material prices which affected the gross profit margin
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for the current financial quarter under review increased by RM5.60 million (or 93.49%) to RM11.59 million as compared to RM5.99 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. The increase in revenue and profit before tax was mainly due to revenue generated from the sale of Mid-Autumn Festive products in current financial quarter and increase in sale of wholesale segment products through expansion of customer base and delivery fleet, as compared to the lower revenue recorded due to the fasting month in the preceding financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for the current financial quarter under review increased by RM1.28 million (or 20.45%) to RM7.54 million as compared to RM6.26 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. With the relaxation of the COVID-19 restriction measures and increased mobility post lockdown, the Group had reported higher revenue and profit before tax in the current financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for the current financial quarter under review increased by RM5.57 million to RM6.26 million as compared to RM0.69 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. In the current financial quarter, most of the states in Malaysia are moving into Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan gradually, where more economic, education and social activities are allowed to resume. As a result, the Group had reported higher revenue and profit before tax in the current financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax for the current financial quarter under review decreased by RM0.79 million (25.90%) to RM2.26 million as compared to RM3.05 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter. In the current financial quarter, the Malaysian Government had announced the second movement control order (“MCO”) which resulted in a slight decrease in the Group’s revenue in spite of the sales of Chinese New Year festive products. The decrease in profit before tax in the current financial quarter was mainly due to increase in cost of raw material and rising fuel price which had resulted in an increase in selling and distribution expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the current quarter decreased by RM8.82 million (or 18.55%) from RM47.54 million to RM38.72 million as compared to preceding quarter due to the Group had been temporarily closed down since the implementation of MCO. Profit before tax for the current quarter decreased by RM0.64 million (or 91.43%) to RM0.06 million as compared to RM0.70 million in the preceding quarter. The Group’s profit was also affected by fixed overhead expenses during this period.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.22 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 41.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 209 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the current financial quarter ended 31 March 2020 decreased by RM1.02 million (or 2.10%) from RM48.56 million to RM47.54 million as compared with the immediate preceding financial quarter. The lower revenue for the current financial quarter was mainly due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the implementation of Movement Control Order (“MCO”) from 18 March 2020, the Group had closed some of its outlets temporarily due to shopping malls closure or low consumers traffic.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the current quarter ended 31 December 2019 decreased from RM50.06 million to RM48.56 million as compared to preceding quarter. The higher revenue was mainly due to sales of Mid-Autumn Festive products. Profit before tax for the current quarter decreased to RM0.63 million as compared to RM2.29 million in preceding quarter. As a result of the Company’s listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities, one-off non-recurring listing expenses of RM2.08 million were expensed off.
