BURSA MALAYSIA –
STB Group’s profit after tax (“PAT”) increased by RM7.69 million or 30.50% to RM32.90 million from RM25.21 million in FY2022. This was achieved through revenue growth and supported by a higher increase in other operating income. Moving forward, The Group is committed to enhance shareholder’s value in the long run. The Group has been aggressively reducing their dependance on labour intensive processes via automation to better manage overall costs.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
As compared to the immediate preceding quarter, the Group revenue decreased by RM7.796 million (or 17.27%) from RM45.144million (Q3/22) to RM37.348 million (Q4/22) attributed by the lower sales from all three segments. The profit after tax showed an decreased of RM4.011 million (or 39.70%) from RM10.104 million (Q3/22) to RM6.093 million (Q4/22) due to the reason mentioned and lower foreign exchange gain as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue increased by RM5.281 million (or 13.25%) from RM39.863 million (Q2/22) to RM45.144 million (Q3/22) attributed by the higher sales from all three segments. The profit after tax showed an increased of RM0.702 million (or 7.47%) from RM9.402 million (Q2/22) to RM10.104 million (Q3/22) due to the reason mentioned in above and favorable foreign exchange.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue increased by RM3.890 million (or 10.81%) from RM35.973 million (Q1/22) to RM39.863 million (Q2/22) attributed by the higher sales from industrial and automotive segments. The profit after tax showed an increased of RM1.998 million (or 26.99%) from RM7.404 million (Q1/22) to RM9.402 million (Q2/22) due to the reason mentioned in above and favorable foreign exchange.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
As compared to the immediate preceding quarter, the Group revenue decreased by RM 7.031 million (or 16.35%) from RM 43.004 million (Q4/21) to RM 35.973 million (Q1/22) mainly due to lower sales volume. The profit after tax showed an decreased of RM 0.596 million (or 7.45%) from RM 8.000 million (Q4/21) to RM 7.404 million (Q1/22).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
With the approval from the authority to operate at 100% workforce from September 1, 2021, the Group revenue increased by RM10.887 million (or 33.90%) from RM 32.117 million (Q3/21) to RM 43.004 million (Q4/21) when compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The profit after tax showed an increased of RM 1.004 million (or 14.35%) as a result from RM 6.996 million (Q3/21) to RM 8.000 million (Q4/21) .
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit after tax decreased by RM 2.495 million (or 33.80%) from RM 7.380 million (December 2020) to RM 4.885 million (March 2021). There are various factors which have led to a decline in revenue and operating profit. First,there is a lower revenue recorded in the current quater due to shorter working days. Secondly, copper, which is a raw material used in Supercomnet’s devices where the price have been increased significantly as compared to its fourth quater 2020.To mitigate furure losses on copper price increases,the group have made a proposal with client for a monthly agreement on the increase of copper price.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue has increased by RM0.586 million (or 1.55%) from RM 37.758 million (September 2020) to RM 38.344 million (December 2020) . The profit after tax increased by RM 2.223 million (or 43.10%) from RM 5.157 million (September 2020) to RM 7.380 million (December 2020) was mainly contributed by Supercomal Medical Products Sdn. Bhd. (SMP).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
As compared to the immediate preceding quarter, the Group’s revenue has decreased by 14.16% (or RM 3.99 million) from RM 28.15 million (March 2020) to RM 24.16 million (June 2020), mainly due to the drop in sales of automotive cables as a result of production stoppage during the movement control order (MCO) imposed by the government
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the first quarter under review, the Group Revenue decreased by 13.11 % (or RM4.25 million) from RM 32.40 million to RM 28.15 million as compared to immediate preceding quarter. The drop in the revenue are due to seasonal factor of demand and also slow down in demand of automotive cable compounded by 2 weeks of Movement Control Order in March 2020.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.47 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 16.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 102 thousands
