BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group also recorded a profit after tax of RM43.1 million, an impressive surge of 453% from last year profit of RM7.8 million. The improvement of results mainly contributed by higher percentage of sales and construction progress of Embayu @ Damansara West (“Embayu Project”) project and recognition of progress billing of energy solution contracts from newly acquired energy efficiency division. Going Forward, the Group will continue to operate within the constraints, revisit the market demand and pricing strategies, as well as rationalise the cost structure in order to stay competitive in the market.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM71.9 million and profit before tax of RM13.9 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2022 as compared to revenue of RM62.4 million and profit before tax of RM11.7 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in revenue and profit before tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter is mainly due to recognition of higher percentage of sales and construction progress from ongoing projects, and contribution from new energy efficiency business.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM59.5 million and profit before tax of RM11.5 million for the current quarter ended 31 March 2022 as compared to revenue of RM61.4 million and loss before tax of RM15.5 million for the immediate preceding quarter. Higher profit before tax for current quarter ended 31 March 2022 was also due to the one-off impairment losses on goodwill and other assets recognised in immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM15.5 million for the current quarter, as compared to RM4.9 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in revenue mainly due to higher revenue recognition from Embayu Project and an increase in sales orders for elastic textile, webbing, rubber tape and polyvinyl chloride products in current quarter as compared to immediate preceding quarter. Higher loss before tax mainly arising from one-off impairment losses on goodwill and other assets amounted to RM23.4 million in current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM33.7 million and profit before tax of RM4.9 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2021 as compared to revenue of RM38.1 million and profit before tax of RM15.9 million for the immediate preceding quarter. Lower profit before tax mainly arising from one-off recognition of reversal of lease liabilities by retail segment due to early termination of store tenancy which was recognised in immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM38.1 million and profit before tax of RM15.9 million for the current quarter ended 30 June 2021 as compared to revenue of RM58.1 million and loss before tax of RM10.8 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue as compared to the immediate preceding quarter is mainly due to the additional revenue of RM16.0 million generated by the security brokerage business which being acquired in fourth quarter of 2020 and was subsequently disposed off in March 2021 in preceding quarter. Higher profit before tax for current quarter ended 30 June 2021 as compared to immediate preceding quarter was mainly due to one-off recognition of reversal of lease liabilities by retail segment arising from early termination.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM35.7 million and loss before tax of RM51.5 million for the current quarter ended 31 December 2020 as compared to revenue of RM112.0 million and profit before tax of RM20.4 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue and profit before tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter is mainly due to impairment losses on goodwill and other assets recognised in current quarter and the one-off realisation of previously unrealised intercompany revenue, profits and interest income upon the disposal of PDMSB to third party in immediate preceding quarter.
The Edge –
PRG Holdings posted a net profit of RM19.41 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2020, compared with a net loss of RM3.94 million a year earlier. This was mainly due to a one-off realisation of previously unrealised income upon the disposal of a 60% stake in subsidiary Premier De Muara Sdn Bhd (PDMSB), the group said in a stock exchange filing. PRG said its property division has shifted to projects in the affordable segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM112.0 million and profit before tax of RM20.4 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2020 as compared to revenue of RM21.2 million and loss before tax of RM2.5 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in revenue and profit before tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter is mainly due to one-off realisation of previously unrealised intercompany revenue, profits and interest income upon the disposal of PDMSB to third party in third quarter of 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM21.2 million and loss before tax of RM2.5 million for the current quarter ended 30 June 2020 as compared to revenue of RM27.4 million and loss before tax of RM0.2 million for the immediate preceding quarter. This is mainly due to the lower revenue contributed by manufacturing and retail segments. The performance of the segments was affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted the business operations as well as deteriorated the overall market demand during current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM27.4 million and loss before tax of RM0.2 million for the current quarter as compared to revenue of RM57.3 million and loss before tax of RM45.5 million for the preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue is mainly due to the decrease in the newly acquired subsidiaries. The higher loss before tax is due to the one-off recognition of impairment losses of goodwill, receivables, investments in associates and investment in joint venture by manufacturing and healthcare segments.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 3.21 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 40.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 583 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM57.3 million and LBT of RM45.5 million for current quarter ended 31 December 2019 as compared to revenue of RM33.3 million and LBT of RM3.5 million for the preceding quarter. Increase in revenue is mainly due to higher revenue contributed by manufacturing segment, mainly arising from the newly acquired subsidiaries. Increase in LBT is mainly due to impairment losses of goodwill, receivables and investment in associate by manufacturing segment and impairment losses of investment in associate and joint venture by healthcare segment.
