BURSA MALAYSIA –
The PLABS Group recorded a profit after tax of RM4.00 million for the FY 2023 compared to the PAT of RM4.03 million as recorded in the FY 2022. This was mainly due to the unfavorable margin achieved on the sales for some products mainly due to stiff competition faced by the PLABS Group coupled with unfavorable of currency translation and commodity price fluctuations. Regardless of the market environment, we are resolute in our long-term strategies focused on delivering cost efficiency and identifying new market opportunities.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered decrease in revenue of 6.85% from RM41.407 million to RM38.570 million and decrease in profit before tax of 5.83% from RM1.253 million to RM1.180 million as compared to preceding quarter ended 30 June 2022. The decrease in profit before tax was mainly attributable to lower revenue achieved

The Group registered increase in revenue of 1.01% from RM40.993 million to RM41.407 million and decrease in profit before tax of 36.07% from RM1.960 million to RM1.253 million as compared to preceding quarter ended 31 March 2022. The Group registered decrease in revenue of 0.63% from RM41.253 million to RM40.993 million and decrease in profit before tax of 31.30% from RM2.853 million to RM1.960 million as compared to preceding quarter ended 31 December 2021. For the quarter under review, the Group registered decrease in revenue of 12.16% from RM21.777 million to RM19.128 million and decrease in profit before tax of 10.82% from RM1.322 million to RM1.179 million as compared to preceding quarter ended 30 March 2020. The decrease in profit before tax was mainly attributable to lower revenue achieved coupled with lower gross profit margin achieved.

Group’s revenue decreased by 10.6% from RM24.368 million to RM21.777 million and decrease in profit before tax of 12.1% from RM1.504 million to RM1.322 million as compared to preceding quarter. The decrease in PBT was mainly due to lower revenue achieved coupled with higher operating expenses incurred.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the quarter, the Group registered increase in revenue of 0.2% from RM24.309 million to RM24.368 million and increase in profit before tax of 6.3% from RM1.415 million to RM1.504 million as compared to preceding quarter ended 30 September 2019. The increase in profit before tax was mainly attributable to lower finance cost incurred couple with higher other income achieved.
