For the financial period ended 30 June 2024, the group’s LBT was RM2.43 million as compared to LBT of RM3.01 million for the same period in the preceding year. The lower in LBT were due to closure of several physical outlets in Aeon mall whereby operating costs were reduced. In near future, we are anticipating an influx of customers to shopping malls where our F&B outlets are located. This optimism should augur well for the Group’s plan to open more outlets and the opportunities to attract more franchisee for “PappaRich” brand.

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The Group’s revenue for the year decreased by 5.9% to RM47.5 million as compared to RM50.4 million in the corresponding period. The drop was mainly from the trading of IT related division with a 13.4% negative variance. The group’s IT division will remain challenging due to stiff competition, tight profit margins and supply chain disruptions. However with the focus on effective cost management through consolidation of retail physical outlets, implementation of the consignment store concept and optimizing inventories and to expand our online e-commerce presence. For the F&B segment, we are building on the strong foundation of “Bhai Jim Jum” and “Papparich” to further grow the number of outlets while expanding via new concept outlets such as kiosk concept that require less capital expenditure
