BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a profit after taxation of RM11.4 million for the year 2022 as compare to loss after taxation RM328.3 million during FY2021 attributed to higher Group revenue against a massive drop in administrative and operating expenses and lower cost of services. Going Forward, The Group will act decisively under favourable market conditions in parallel with increased productivity and efficiency, aiming to align the business towards sustainability and growth.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower revenue of RM55.2 million and a higher profit before tax of RM18.8 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM69.4 million and a profit before tax of RM15.0 million in the preceding quarter. The profit before tax recorded in the current quarter has taken into account a reversal of impairment loss on property, plant and equipment, of RM11.4 million and an additional depreciation charge of RM2.2 million. On the other hand, the net realized/unrealized foreign exchange loss of RM9.1 million for the current quarter is RM1.8 million lower than the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher revenue of RM43.2 million and a lower loss before tax of RM6.3 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM28.8 million and a loss before tax of RM13.8 million in the preceding quarter. The significant increase in revenue in the current quarter is mainly due to higher vessel utilisation at 60% for the second quarter as compared to 33% in the first quarter of 2022. The second quarter saw an improvement in charter rate and work orders/contracts awarded from oil majors while the bad weather at the beginning of the year affected the vessel utilization for the first quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The loss before tax recorded in the current quarter has taken into account a net realized/unrealized foreign exchange gain of RM0.9 million, net realized/unrealized foreign exchange loss of RM0.07 million, as compared to an additional allowance for impairment loss on PPE of RM220 million in the preceding quarter. The loss after taxation in the current quarter has taken into account tax expenses amounting to RM0.2 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower revenue of RM51.0 million and a loss before tax of RM258.1 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM54.2 million and a profit before tax of RM3.3 million in the preceding quarter. The slight decrease in revenue in the current quarter is mainly due to decrease in vessel utilisation at 51% as compared to 71% in the third quarter of 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM52.5 million and a loss before tax of RM19.9 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM60.0 million and a loss before tax of RM2.8 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue in the current quarter is mainly due to lower vessel utilisation at 50% in
the current quarter as compared to 58% in the second quarter of 2020. The lower vessel utilisation in the third quarter of 2020 is a result of delayed work orders/contracts awarded from the oil majors arising from business disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM60.0 million and a loss before tax of RM2.8 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM59.7 million and a loss before tax of RM13.3 million in the preceding quarter. The revenue remained consistent in both quarters with vessel utilisation at 58% in the current quarter and 62% in the first quarter of 2020. The lower vessel utilisation in the second quarter of 2020 is a result of delayed work orders/contracts awarded from the oil majors arising from business disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower revenue of RM59.7 million and a loss before tax of RM13.3 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM64.0 million and a profit before tax of RM6.4 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue in the current quarter is mainly due to lower vessel utilisation at 64% as compared to 74% in the fourth quarter of 2019. The typically lower vessel utilisation in the first
quarter of 2020 is a result of slower work orders/contracts awarded from the oil majors during the monsoon season
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.03 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 54.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 230 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM64.0 million and PBT of RM4.3 million in the current quarter, as compared to a revenue of RM87.4 million and PBT of RM18.7 million in preceding quarter. The decrease in revenue is mainly due to lower vessel utilisation. In addition, the lower PBT has taken into account a reversal of impairment loss on PPE as well as professional fees relating to debt restructuring expenses, as compared to a gain on bargain purchase on acquisition of a new subsidiary recognised in preceding quarter.

(31 DEC 19) Perdana Petroleum Bhd shares fell 2.44% this morning after its rights issue of up to 1.56 billion new redeemable convertible preference shares (RCPS) was undersubscribed by 5.99%.
