The group recorded a profit before tax of RM147,586 for the current financial year ended 31 December 2022 as compared to RM2,357,011 loss before tax in the previous financial year mainly due to the non-recurring corporate exercise expenses incurred and provided, retrenchment benefit expenses, loss on disposal of property, plant and equipment and non-executive directors’ gratuity incurred in corresponding cumulative financial quarter ended 31 December 2021. The group plans to tap into the fast-growing renewable energy sector and its sizeable portfolio of renewable energy assets. The new business will fuel growth and contribute sustainable recurring income streams to the Company.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Company recorded profit before tax of RM15,830 in the current quarter under review as compared to the profit before tax of RM4,593 in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to higher interest income partly offset by the accrual for staff bonus in the current quarter.

The Company recorded profit before tax of RM4,593 in the current quarter under review as compared to the profit before tax of RM36,357 in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to higher legal fee and staff cost incurred during the current financial quarter ended 30 September 2022 partly moderated by higher interest income.

The Company recorded profit before tax of RM36,537 in the current quarter under review as compared to the profit before tax of RM RM90,625 in the immediate preceding quarter, the lower profit before tax is mainly due to the higher staff cost by RM43,600 incurred during the current quarter in preparation for the implementation of the regularisation plan.

The Company recorded profit before tax of RM90,625 in the current quarter under review as compared to the profit before tax of RM1,397,131 in the immediate preceding quarter, the higher profit before tax in the immediate preceding quarter is mainly due to the reversal of corporate exercise expenses pertaining to Proposed Acquisition of RM1,397,704 to prepayment for corporate exercise, which in turn shall be accounted for as a reduction from equity upon completion of Proposed Acquisition.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Company recorded profit before tax of RM1,397,131 in the current quarter under review as compared to the profit before tax of RM12,401 in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to the reversal of corporate exercise expenses pertaining to Proposed Acquisition of RM1,397,704. The increase of RM35,310 in other administrative expenses partly offset by the increase in other income of RM22,369 explained the rest of the movement.

The Company recorded profit before tax of RM12,401 in the current quarter under review as compared to the loss before tax of RM2,583,689 in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to corporate exercise expenses incurred and accrued for of RM1,781,989, retrenchment benefit expenses of RM459,027, Directors’ gratuity of RM100,000 and and loss on disposal of property, plants and equipment of RM155,292 in immediate preceding quarter.

The Company recorded profit before tax of RM12,401 in the current quarter under review as compared to the loss before tax of RM2,583,689 in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to corporate exercise expenses incurred and accrued for of RM1,781,989, retrenchment benefit expenses of RM459,027, Directors’ gratuity of RM100,000 and and loss on disposal of property, plants and equipment of RM155,292 in immediate preceding quarter.

The Company recorded loss before tax of RM2,583,689 in the current quarter under review as compared to the loss before tax of RM1,182,854 in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to increase in corporate exercise expenses of RM1,399,355.

The company recorded loss before tax of RM0.336 million in the current quarter under review as compared to RM0.159 million in the immediate preceding quarter due to lower interest income from fixed deposits earned resulted from reduction in OPR rates by BNM in 2020 and one-off expenses incurred in relation to the Annual General Meeting.

The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM159,129 for the current quarter as compared to a loss before tax of RM110,116 in the preceding quarter due to lower interest income from fixed deposits and investment earned resulted from reduction in OPR rate by BNM.
