BURSA MALAYSIA –
Against immediate preceding quarter, the Group saw its profit before tax for the third quarter ended 31 December 2022 fall by 9.5% to RM3.7 million from RM4.1 million, mainly due to lower contribution achieved from the Marine & Industrial, Building & Construction Materials and Heavy Equipment divisions. This was despite a 7.7% increase in the overall current quarter’s revenue to RM214.5 million, from RM199.2 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before tax of RM4.1 million on the back of revenue of RM199.2 million as compared to profit before tax of RM2.3 million and revenue of RM183.7 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The better performance was primarily attributed to the significant revenue growth in heavy equipment business and the absence of fair value loss on quoted investment in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before tax of RM2.3 million on the back of revenue of RM183.7 million as compared to loss before tax of RM1.2 million and revenue of RM171.5 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Against the immediate preceding quarter, the better performance was largely driven by improved performance from Marine & Industrial division, Building & Construction Materials division as well as Construction & Infrastructure division.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss before tax of RM1.2 million for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2022 against a profit before tax of RM2.5 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The loss in the current quarter was mainly due to the recognition of fair value loss on quoted equity investment of RM3.9 million and impairment loss on intangible assets of RM1.7 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group saw its profit before tax for the third quarter ended 31 December 2021 fall by 74.5% to RM2.5 million from RM9.6 million, mainly due to higher administrative expenses and impairment losses on receivables. This was despite a 2.9% increase in revenue to RM168.5 million, from RM163.8 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a pre-tax loss of RM7.3 million for the first quarter ended 30 June 2021 as opposed to a pre-tax profit of RM3.3 million achieved in the immediate preceding quarter, dragged largely by the amortisation of intangible assets arising from the acquisition of new subsidiary and the fair value loss on quoted equity investment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before taxation (PBT) of RM3.3 million for the current quarter, as compared to RM8.4 million achieved in the immediate preceding quarter. Against the immediate preceding quarter, the Group’s PBT in Q4 was affected by lower gross profit and higher operating expenses but cushioned by higher other operating income arising from the fair value gain on quoted equity investment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s financial performance made a turnaround with profit before tax of RM1.2 million as opposed to a loss before tax of RM0.9 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The Group recorded lower sales in the immediate preceding quarter following the temporary closure of business operations from 1
April 2020 to 12 May 2020 to comply with the Movement Control Order
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group’s revenue fell to RM51.7 million in the current quarter from RM79.5 million in the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020. The decline was mainly due to lower sales in temporary closure of business operations to comply with the Movement Control Order. The Group’s loss before tax rose to RM0.9 million for current quarter from RM0.5 million three months earlier on significantly lower gross profit and reversal of impairment on receivables previously recognised.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded quarterly loss of RM0.5 million on the back of revenue of RM79.5 million as compared to profit before tax of RM3.8 million and revenue of RM89.5 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Against the immediate preceding quarter, the lower performance in the current quarter was largely attributed to the decrease in gross
profit coupled with higher impairment losses on trade receivables as well as slow moving inventories.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the current quarter, the Group achieved profit before tax (PBT) of RM3.8 million on the back of revenue of RM89.5 million as compared to PBT of RM4.6 million and revenue of RM88.1 million in the preceding quarter.
