BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the financial year ended 31 August 2024 (“FY2024”), Group’s revenue surged to RM652.47 million from RM534.33 million in FY2023, marking a 22% increase. Similarly, PBT rose to RM135.46 million, up from RM99.69 million the previous year, representing a 36% increase. This is mainly due to higher revenue and PBT achieved in Property Development segment driven by strong demand for the Group’s new and ongoing development project. Also in General Construction segment, mainly attributed to enhanced progress in construction activities for external customers. Looking ahead, the Group is poised for continued growth with unbilled property sales of about RM603.45 million from its existing projects as at close of the reporting financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
PBT shrank by 12.7% YoY, with the drop due to higher staff costs in line with strategic direction for further expansion, recruitment of senior management personnel and employees with relevant expertise and professional experience. OIB Group’s unbilled sales amounted to RM720.0 million, which will be realised over the next 3 years with clear earnings visibility until 2026. The recent joint venture in Daerah Kuala Muda, Kedah is targeted for completion by 2033 with estimated GDV of about RM2.1 billion.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded 42% and 60% drop in revenue and PBT respectively compared to immediate preceding quarter with declines reported from key divisions. Whilst top line performance from Property Development segment dipped significantly by 43% resulting in a 62% drop in PBT while billings to external customers under General Construction segment slid by 42%, resulting in a 95% drop in PBT. The results were affected mainly due to strong take-up rate for the Group’s on-going projects in immediate preceding quarter. At the same time, Oil Palm Cultivation also reported 17% and 13% slide in revenue and PBT respectively, due to weakened crude palm oil price in the reporting quarter compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The year under review saw the Group delivering a significant step-up with revenue and profit before tax rising by 37.2% and 33.6% on FYE2021 performance as we optimised selling price and continued strong focus on delivering improved margin, cost efficiency and ensuring our business is set up for accelerated growth in the years ahead. Going forward into the new financial year, the Group is ramping up its preparation to launch approximately 4,400 homes that embodies the Group’s value proposition for its residential properties. The Group is still on a continuous lookout for land acquisition and joint venture opportunities to add to its current land banks of 1,695 acres. These land banks are expected to contribute positively to the Group’s future
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Consolidated revenue and PBT increased by 31% and 45% respectively compared with the immediate preceding financial quarter. The key business segment, Property Development’s revenue and PBT rose by 31% and 49% mainly due to strong take-up rate and higher progress billings. The General Construction segment’s billings to external customers rose by 36%, contributing to a 82% jump in PBT. Meanwhile, revenue and PBT of Oil Palm Cultivation segment were lower by 12% and 8% respectively, mainly impacted by weakened CPO price in the reporting quarter compared to the immediate preceding quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a 6% drop in revenue with a 17% increase in PBT when compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter. On the same comparative basis, the Property Development segment reported a 17% increase in PBT on the back of 5% drop in revenue as payment of discretionary bonuses were made in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded 64% and 45% increase in revenue and PBT respectively compared to immediate preceding quarter. Revenue from Property Development segment rose significantly by 54% resulting in corresponding 47% increase in PBT attributed mainly to higher sales boosted by the reintroduction of HOC until end 2021. PBT from General Construction segment rose by 586% on the back of 430% growth in revenue over the same comparative periods supported by progressive billings on turnkey projects
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported 27% and 89% higher revenue and PBT respectively when compared with immediate preceding financial quarter. The lower revenue and PBT recognised in preceding quarter arose from temporary shutdown then of the Group’s business activities and operations in compliance with the full lockdown (MCO 3.0) nationwide from 1 June 2021 with extension to 28 June 2021 to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded 35% and 65% drop in revenue and PBT respectively compared to immediate preceding financial quarter with declines reported from key divisions. The lower profit during the current quarter
resulted from temporary shutdown of the Group’s business activities and operations in compliance with reimposition of nationwide full lockdown (MCO 3.0). Oil Palm Cultivation also reported 28% and 44% slide in revenue and PBT respectively, mainly due to drop in harvesting volume
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.7.2019 – 31.8.2020, the directors’ remuneration was 6.26 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 30.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 282 thousands

In Financial Year End 1.7.2018 – 30.6.2019, the directors’ remuneration was 4.97 million. It was very high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 22.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 28 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM73.399 million and PBT of RM18.374 million for current quarter as compared to revenue of RM43.759 million and PBT of RM23.843 million in preceding quarter. Property Development segment mainly due to additional profits recognised arising from higher margin contribution projects where availability of amortisation of grant income to reduce the cost of sales of these projects. Increase in billings to external customers under General Construction segment resulted growth in PBT. Improved price of crude palm oil contributed to a 126% increase in PBT.
