BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue improved from RM11.01 million in the preceding year to RM13.65 million in the current year. The improved revenue mainly contributed from higher interest earned from money lending business, higher project sales of network equipment and infrastructure and new rental income in Sungei Wang Plaza Sdn Bhd which were acquired in September 2021, mitigated by lower revenue from food and gifting delivery business due to market reopening post MCO. The loss before tax of the Group in current year of RM16.09 million, lower than RM22.37 million in the preceding year, mainly contributed from higher revenue and gross profit margin, couple with lower other operating expenses. The Group is adopting a cautious approach while remaining flexible in executing our strategic plans in expanding our existing businesses and identifying new business/ventures
opportunities to ensure adequate funding and sustainable profitability throughout this difficult time.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM10.29 million in current quarter, higher loss as compared to RM2.87 million in previous quarter, mainly due to higher operating and administrative expenses by RM4.13 million, impairment loss on intangible assets of RM3.42 million in current quarter, unrealized forex loss of RM1.13 million in current quarter against forex gain of RM2.18 million in previous quarter, mitigated by higher revenue and gross profit, and lower loss in fair value adjustment on investment in public listed company by RM3.15 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM2.87 million in current quarter, higher loss as compared to RM0.06 million in previous quarter, mainly due to higher loss on fair value adjustment of quoted investment by RM1.64 million, and lower unrealised gain on forex by RM2.64 million, mitigated by higher revenue and gross profit achieve
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM0.06 million in current quarter, lower loss as compared to RM3.34 million in previous quarter, mainly due to unrealized forex gain of RM4.81 million as USD and HKD strengthen against Ringgit Malaysia against unrealized forex loss of RM0.35 million in previous quarter, mitigated by loss on fair value adjustment of quoted investment of RM1.25 million in current quarter against gain on fair value adjustment of quoted investment of RM0.36 million in previous quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM3.33 million in current quarter, lower loss as compared to RM9.59 million in previous quarter, mainly due to old intangible assets written off at net book value of RM1.02 million and impairment on intangible assets of RM4.29 million which is none in current quarter and, loss on fair value of investment of RM1.65 million in previous year against gain on fair value of investment of RM0.42 million in this quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM9.78 million in current quarter, higher loss as compared to RM1.79 million in previous quarter, mainly due to old intangible assets written off at net book value of RM1.02 mil, impairment on intangible assets of RM4.94 mil and loss on fair value adjustment on investment in public listed company of RM1.65 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM1.79 million in current quarter, higher loss as compared to profit before tax of RM0.38 million in previous quarter, mainly due to lower unrealised gain on forex by RM1.70 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM11.37 million in current quarter, lower losses compared to previous quarter of RM14.80 million, mainly due to impairment on intangible assets of RM8.05 million and terminals written off of RM0.63 million in previous quarter which were none in current quarter; lower unrealized loss on fair value adjustment on investment in public listed company by RM0.59 million and lower forex loss by RM1.66 million. However, the lower losses were cushioned by lower gross profit margin in current quarter and higher loss on disposal on investment in public listed company of RM6.57 million
The Edge –
On Nov 6, NetX executive director Tan Sik Eek disposed of 39.66 million shares or a 4.7% stake at 14 sen per share, for a total transaction value of RM5.5 million. The disposal price was a 12% premium to NetX’s closing price of 12.5 sen on Nov 5. Post disposal, Tan’s holding in the company stood at 60.5 million shares or 7.2%. On Oct 27, Tan had emerged as a substantial shareholder in NetX with an 11.98% stake, following a subscription of shares pursuant to the company’s rights issue with warrants exercise.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM3.15 million in current quarter, only slightly lower than RM3.67 million in previous quarter. The profit before tax of RM4.02 million in current quarter, better than loss before tax of RM4.91 million in previous quarter mainly due to unrealized forex gain of RM4.07 million and gain on fair value adjustment on investment in MLAB System Berhad of RM1.19 million in current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM3.66 million in current quarter higher than RM0.03 million in previous quarter, mainly due to project sales of network equipment and infrastructure in Non-payment segment. The loss before tax of RM4.9 million in current quarter, lower losses as compared to RM9.67 million in previous quarter mainly due to bad debts written off and intangible assets written off in previous quarter, mitigated by to loss on fair value adjustment on investment in MLAB System Berhad and share-based compensation expenses of for share option granted to employees in current quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.7.2018 – 30.11.2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.17 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 7.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 150 thousands
