BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the current financial year ended 30 June 2024, the group’s registered a revenue of RM205.2 million and PBT of RM 29.3 million as compared to revenue and PBT in the preceding financial year of RM213.6 million and RM32.7 million respectively. The reduction in PBT due to lower revenue from property segment and higher other operating expenses and finance costs. Moving Forward, The Group continues with its strategies to drive performance at its locations namely Damansara Perdana, Damansara Damai, Taman Bunga Raya, Klebang Putra, Meru Perdana and will continue to focus on sales of its products and the timely completion of its projects. For the leisure segment, the Group will continue the promotional packages to capitalise on the domestic demand.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM2.7 million for the current quarter as compared to RM12.2 million for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for the property development segment in the current quarter of RM1.3 million is lower by 90% as compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to higher other operating income for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for leisure segment in the current quarter increase by 967% due to higher turnover from resorts operation as compared to preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a pre-tax profit of RM22.4 million which is 9.3% lower than the RM24.7 million secured in FY2021, largely attributable to higher cost of sales. Moving forward, the Group’s strategic priorities will differ according to its individual business target market but overall, there would be continued strong focus on digital marketing to increase leads, improve engagements and efficiency and ultimately, lead to improved sales. Specific to the luxury homeowner market, the Group’s focus will be personalised with engagements towards targeted potential buyers and target market. As for the township developments, the Group is constantly striving to improve the offerings to the existing and potential buyers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM12 million for the current quarter as compared to RM3.3 million for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for the property development segment in the current quarter of RM12.3 million is higher as compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to higher other operating income from property development segment. Profit before tax for leisure segment in the current quarter decreased by 92% due to slightly lower turnover from resorts operation as compared to preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM3.3 million for the current quarter as compared to RM3.5 million for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for the property development segment in the current quarter of RM2.6 million is higher as compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to lower operating expenses. Profit before tax for leisure segment in the current quarter decreased to RM0.8 million from RM2.4 million due to lower turnover from resorts operation.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM3.5 million for the current quarter as compared to RM2.2 million for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for the property development segment in the current quarter of RM0.7 million is lower by 63% as compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to lower revenue of on-going projects and completed properties. Leisure segment achieved profit before tax of RM2.4 million attributed to higher turnover from resorts operation.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM2.2 million for the current quarter as compared to RM15.5 million for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for the property development segment in the current quarter of RM1.8 million is lower by 91% as compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to higher other operating income for the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
M K Land managed to deliver a commendable performance, amidst these challenges, while the Group revenue decreased by 8%, the profit before tax improved to RM 24.7 million, higher by 25% compared to the previous year. M K Land will continue to focus on developing affordable homes projects from the land bank in Taman Bunga Raya and Klebang Putra and to optimise usage of balance land banks in Damansara Perdana, Bukit Merah and Bandar Technopolis Perdana. The Group is also looking at the business opportunity for renewable energy
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM15.5 million for the current quarter as compared to RM3.1 million for the preceding quarter. Profit before tax for the property development segment in the current quarter of RM19.7 million is higher by 362% as compared to the preceding quarter, mainly due to higher other operating income from property development segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM3.1 million for the current quarter as compared to RM3.5 million for the preceding quarter. The profit before taxation in the preceding quarter was higher mainly due to cost savings from the cost containment measures undertaken by the Group.
The Edge –
Renewable energy players rose today after winning bids for the fourth cycle of the large-scale solar programme (LSS4). MK Land Holdings Bhd increased by three sen or 14.29% to 24 sen. Last Friday, the Energy Commission announced the list of 30 shortlisted bidders of the LSS4, with prices ranging from 17.68 sen/kWh to 24.81 sen/kWh, for a total awarded capacity of 823.06MW out of the 1,000 MW offered.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM3.5 million for the current quarter as compared to RM2.2 million for the preceding quarter. The higher profit from property development is mainly due to higher revenue from on-going project in Damansara Damai in current quarter. The higher profit from investment holding in the preceding quarter is mainly due to cost containment measures.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 3.64 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 30.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 350 thousands
