BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group’s revenue is mainly contributed from the flour milling and trading segment. The decrease of demand in the operating market affected the sales volume. Consequently, the profit before tax also decreased by 18.92% in FYE 2023 compared to FYE 2022. The operating environment is anticipated to remain highly competitive in the year 2024 due to inherently uncertain and
various unforeseen events that can impact to the Group. Nevertheless, the Group will persevere in elevating operational efficiency and focus on exploring various marketing strategies to improve the Group’s revenue and profitability in future. The Group will also continue to monitor and review the uncertainty in order to mitigate any potential risk.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue had increased by 39.98% from RM12.746 million in the preceding quarter compare to RM 17.842 million in the current quarter. The higher revenue is mainly due to the increase in sales volume for starch. The Group recorded higher gross profit of RM 1.003 million in the current year as compared to a gross profit RM 0.773 million in the preceding financial year. The gross profit increased due to the increase in selling price.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower gross profit of RM 0.73 million in the current year as compared to a gross profit RM 1.5 million in the preceding financial year. The lower gross profit is mainly due to the higher raw material cost and labour cost.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group is maintaining their revenue at RM13.384 million. Nevertheless, the Group has a higher gross profit of RM1.599 million for the current quarter as compared to RM1.485 million in the preceeding quarter. Besides that, the Group is doing well in cost-controlling especially within the administrative expenses which can be seen from the increase in profit after tax from RM0.438 million to RM0.910 million. The management are paying much attention on cost control during this crucial period
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue had decreased by 6.2% from RM14.557 million in the preceding quarter to current quarter of RM13.654 million. This was mainly due to the impact of Covid-19 and lesser demand from our customers. Besides that, the Group is doing well in cost-controlling especially within the administrative expenses. The management are paying much attention on cost during this crucial period. Saving cost are vitally important for every company to survive in the long run.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue had decreased by 20% from RM14.695 million in the preceding quarter to current quarter of RM11.760 million. This was mainly due to the impact of Covid-19 and lesser demand from our customers. However, the profit after tax had increased from RM0.662 million to RM3.954 million. This was mainly due to one-time dividend income received from other investment which amounted to RM3.54 million during the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue had decreased marginally by 3.1% from RM15.161 million in the preceding quarter to current quarter of RM14.696 million. This was mainly due to weaker sales performance during the initial phase of the MCO. The profit after tax had reduced from RM5.139 million to RM0.685 million. This was mainly due to one-time waiver of liabilities of RM4.996 million from scheme creditors under the corporate exercise on regularisation plan.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group experienced a lower sales performance during the quarter with RM15.161 million as compared to RM16.416 million for preceding quarter. The improvments in profit before tax for current quarter with RM5.139 million as compared to loss before tax of RM2.227 million was mainly due to the waiver of liabilities during the qaurter by scheme creditors under the corporate exercise in regulation plan.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.79 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 4.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 53 thousands
