    The Group achieved a surge in profit before tax from RM 140.32 million in FYE 2021 to RM 326.56 million in FYE 2022, representing an increase of 132.7% due to higher revenue recorded. Going Forward, The Group will continue to emphasise cost management, efficiency improvement and automation initiatives across our operations for business sustainability and adaptability amidst challenging business landscapes. These ongoing strategies will help to preserve the Group’s margins and increase our market share in line with our volume expansion.

    The Group’s revenue increased by 3.9% from RM2,272.2 million to RM2,361.4 million in comparison with the immediate preceding quarter. The revenue growth was due mainly to higher average selling price and sales volume of livestock feed in Vietnam as well as higher average selling price in Indonesia and Malaysia. The higher average selling price of DOC in Indonesia also contributed to the revenue growth. The group’s profit before taxation improved by 128.0% from RM43.9 million in FQE 30 June 2022 to RM100.1 million in FQE 30 September 2022.

    The Group’s revenue increased by 8.9% from RM2,087.2 million to RM2,272.2 million in comparison with the immediate preceding quarter. The revenue growth was due mainly to higher average selling price and sales volume of broiler chickens in Vietnam. The higher average selling price of livestock feed in Vietnam and Indonesia also contributed to the growth. The group’s profit before taxation improved by 37.4% from RM31.9 million in FQE 31 March 2022 to RM43.9 million in FQE 30 June 2022.
