For the financial year ended 30 June 2024, The Group’s revenue and PAT increased by 13% or RM61.4 million to RM550.3 million and 6% or RM1.9 million to RM35.8 million respectively compared to previous financial year contributed by the newly acquired subsidiary namely Central Cables Berhad (“CCB”) as well as the encouraging performance from the LPG division combined with several exceptional items including the gain on fair value of investment in KUB Sepadu Sdn Bhd (“KUBS”) and gain from disposal of assets. Overall, the Group will continue to maintain a cautious stance on the overall market and industry outlook, while remaining flexible in executing strategic plans in expanding our existing business and identifying new business opportunities as and when they arise.

  2. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The quarterly revenue declined by 2.2% or RM2.8 million from the preceding quarter largely attributable to the lower average CP for LPG division despite increase in sales volume by 4%. The PAT, however, posted a three-fold rise in the current quarter following the recognition of a gain on fair value of investment in KUBS amounting to RM8.2 million. Excluding the gain, the PAT in the current quarter would have been RM3.1 million, a decrease of 21% from the previous quarter resulting from lower share of profit reported and higher tax expenses.

  3. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The quarterly revenue declined by 14.8% or RM22.2 million from the preceding quarter largely attributable to the lower average CP for LPG despite increase in sales volume by 8%, coupled with the absence of contribution from KUBS. In the current quarter, the Group recognised KUBS’s financial results through its share of profit amounting to RM1.9 million. Additionally, lower CPO prices in the current quarter had also reduced the profit contribution further.

  4. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The quarterly revenue rose 6.8% or RM9.6 million from the preceding quarter largely contributed by the higher average CP and CPO prices despite similar LPG sales volume and lower FFB production by 6%. Resulting from this coupled with higher cost of production, administrative and tax expenses, the Group’s profit for the current quarter was relatively lower by 31% than the previous quarter.

  5. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The quarterly revenue fell 6% or RM9.1 million from the preceding quarter largely attributable to the lower FFB production by 38% due to the low crop season period and weaker LPG sales volume by 5% as well as lower average CP. Resulting from the above coupled with higher cost of production and staff rationalisation exercise, the Group’s profit for the current quarter was relatively lower by 26% than the previous quarter.

  6. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The quarterly revenue rose 41.3% or RM43.9 million from the preceding quarter largely contributed by the higher average CP and CPO prices as well as improved LPG sales volume by 20% following the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in the current quarter. Similarly, the Group recorded a higher profit in tandem with the increase in revenue

  7. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The drop of 43% or RM47.1 million in Group’s revenue in the current quarter was significantly impacted by a lower average Contract Price due to sharp decline in crude oil prices, lower average CPO as well as FFB production and the imposition of the MCO that led to the subdued consumer demand and various business operational disruptions. The impact of this to the Group’s operating results were however offset by the gain on disposal of KUB Berjaya Enviro Sdn Bhd of RM31.4 million.

  8. BURSA MALAYSIA

    BURSA MALAYSIA

The Group reported revenue and PBT of RM109.4 million and RM6.2 million respectively for the current quarter ended 31 March 2020, compared to revenue and PBT of RM110.6 million and RM29.7 million respectively in preceding quarter. The Group’s profit was due to the gain on disposal of the Company’s land in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and higher gross profit margins mainly from the LPG division. The sales of LPG and the Group’s oil palm business in Sabah were impacted by MCO coupled with the low season for oil palm.
