BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss after taxation of RM21.21 million for the FYE 2023 as compared to a loss after taxation of RM48.93 for the financial year ended 31 March 2022. The lower loss after taxation is mainly due to lower fair value loss on financial assets amounting to RM2.17 million in FYE 2023. Through its subsidiary, Agrocloud Sdn Bhd, the Group has been proactively engaging with various potential customers to deliver innovative IT solutions tailored to their specific needs. In addition to cultivating customer relationships, the Group is actively exploring potential partnerships and investment opportunities. The Group is also proactively seeking opportunities to secure new construction projects and replenish its construction order book.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Current quarter recorded loss after tax of RM9.89 million as compared to the loss after tax of RM12.10 million for the immediate preceding corresponding quarter. The fair value loss on the other investment during the current quarter is RM5.94 million (Immediate preceding corresponding quarter: fair value loss on other investment amounting to RM7.99 million) and the impairment of goodwill of RM1.39 million incurred in the immediate corresponding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Current quarter recorded loss after tax of RM12.10 million as compared to the loss after tax of RM16.38 million for the immediate preceding corresponding quarter. The Group’s revenue was RM18.90 million represents an
increase of RM11 million as compared to immediate preceding corresponding quarter revenue of RM7.90 million. This is due to the increase in revenue for the property and construction segment.

Current quarter recorded loss after tax of RM16.38 million as compared to the loss after tax of RM0.66 million for the immediate preceding corresponding quarter. This is due to the fair value loss on the other investment amounting to RM14.69 million incurred during the current quarter.

The Edge –
Key Alliance Group Bhd (KGroup) has partnered with Austria’s Pessl Instruments GmbH to introduce agricultural Internet of Things (IoT) solutions to improve the livelihood of paddy farmers in the country. The collaboration will empower small-time paddy farmers who have recorded decreasing yields year-on-year whilst the cost of production has continued to increase. The primary objective of this project is to reverse this trend with the aid of precision agricultural tools like IoT, weather modelling, soil modelling, and others.
The Edge –
Key Alliance Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Key Alliance Sdn Bhd is teaming up with clinical diagnostics laboratory firm Dunia Wellness Laboratories Sdn Bhd to offer onsite testing services for Covid-19 within Peninsular Malaysia. Under the arrangement, Key Alliance will provide Care Gene Covid-19 PCR test kits to Dunia Wellness for onsite testing services, for clients provided by the former only.
The Star –
According to JF Apex Research, Key Alliance Group has secured an exclusive agreement with South Korean company Wells Bio Inc to supply the latter’s reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR) test kits to Malaysia and Singapore.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 0.97 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 5.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 152 thousands

Group’s revenue was RM7.51 million for current quarter as compared to preceding quarter of RM14.28 million. This is due to decrease in revenue for construction segment and consumer trading segment which are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and MCO. Current quarter recorded profit after tax of RM9.79 million as compared to the loss after tax of RM6.71 million for the preceding quarter. This is due to the fair value gain on the other investment.

Group’s revenue was RM14.28 million, 0.71% higher than RM14.18 million in the preceding quarter. The Group recorded a net loss after taxation of RM6.71 million as compared to the loss after taxation of RM2.17 million in the preceding quarter. This is due to the fair value loss on other investments amounting to RM7.32 million.
